The game is GREAT! Although, after not logging in after some time it re-started. The game has long quest but are worth it. If you don’t have time to play this game it’s not really for you.

I am on this game daily. I have done everything in game that you can currently do. I’m running into issues with leveling materials/credits. Kinda stopping me from being able to do much atm. I have all characters except 3. I definitely recommend.

My Honest and Personal Opinion

Buckle up, this may be long, but I want to give my personal opinion and honestly. That’s what reviews are for, right? Hope I’m helpful. So I have been playing Star Rail since it’s launch day, and in all honesty I truly enjoy the game and will be continuing playing it for the time being. Despite the last negative part of my review. It is an aesthetically pleasing game, the gameplay isn’t that bad, I haven’t run into any lagging or crashes (I know there are people out there who have I’m not saying it doesn’t crash at all, I just am lucky not to have this happen to myself personally), and the story is quite engaging for me. I am truly hooked and curious about all the different characters, and my main character especially. I am not a big fan of turn based games, but this one isn’t too bad, I don’t mind it thanks to the story drawing me in. I like the extra exploring and the hidden gems, like rummaging through all the trash cans to unlock an achievement. Completely pointless, but as a completionist, it is kind of rewarding in a funny way. while I try not to rush through the game right away to the point of nothing left to do, I will admit the single daily refresh is a little lack luster. They are super short and for those who are waiting for content to be released might find it hard to stay engaged cause all there is left to do is grind, which can be tedious in itself if you you don’t have the side or main quests. I am pacing myself cause I don’t like running into this problem, so I can juggle main and side quests along with grinding evenly. The graphics are pretty, and I like how it is similar to Genshin, I seem to like the characters and their designs more in Star Rail though, but that’s just me personally. I will also admit I prefer the Japanese voices with the English subtitles far more then the English, it just feels more soulful, but I watch subbed anime for the same reason. Their story quests and interactions I like since they are pretty different from each other. Sure the tutorial is long, but I don’t really mind, for people just rushing through I guess it’s annoying but I’m here for the plot so I really am not bothered by it. And Like I said I haven’t really ran into any major bugs since starting, but that may just be luck? If the above was all that I had a problem with, this game would easily be a four star for me. But the thing that truly caused me to honestly feel as though three star is better suited is the drop rate Mainly for the special limited character warps. It is awful, and the no pity system is a little unforgiving as well, at least give me some five star CHARACTER drop after so many pulls in the character drop section. I had gone through so many gems trying to get seele, and never got her. I kept getting the other increased drop rate characters, but it was frustrating how I could get two of them in one pull, or not even a character but a five star light cone instead. I get it’s a five star, but if I’m putting my gems in for a character drop and don’t get any characters but just some reallly good light cones, it’s frustrating, that’s what the light cone drop should be for. I wasn’t going to spend money and try to stay strictly free to play, cause honestly I don’t think you need to necessarily have those meta characters to play, you just need to, yes grind who you have, and try to be more strategic with your playing. But when Jing Yaun dropped I really wanted to get him, and I grinded so much to scrap up as many gems as I could only to not get him and pull four, FOUR, Marchs and sometimes multiple other characters. So I caved and tested to see how long it took until I could get him. Well nearly a hundred dollars in, not counting the other free pulls I did from grinding, and I got him. After I pulled five star Bailu two pulls earlier, I mean she is a meta character, but it wasn’t who I wanted. It would be less upsetting if there was a pity system of a guaranteed five star drop of whoever after a certain point. Doesn’t have to be the banner character. My opinion though. All I know is save your gems. Wait for a character that is limited and someone you really think is a must have on your team cause, it’s ruthless the drop rates. I don’t plan to spend anymore money, I wanted to be free to play to begin with.
