Bait and switch!!

I bought the bulbs and thought they would work immediately. Boy was I wrong. When you plug it in it pulsates while waiting for the setup. So I installed the app and apparently it is just a hook to get you to pay a monthly subscription!! The bulbs weren’t cheap and there’s no reason to pay a subscription. I would recommend Wiz Lighting. The Al is free and so is the functionality.

Charged

The app popped up with a special $39.99 for lifetime so I paid it charged me $69.99. So had to call apple for a refund. I’m want to pay $39.99. I got the lights hooked up but can’t get the app to sync with the lights. Have to wait for a tech to come this weekend to try to connect if not I’m returning them. Even when I push the controller to change the colors of the light the l lights don’t change colors so I shall see. I would get five stars if it was easier to connect.

Doesn’t Work

I hate that you need to pay before even seeing if your devices even connect with the app. I’m stuck here with a charge on my account that I will never use this app. I emailed Jason and seems not to respond after I requested a refund.

Having problems

I am not the brightest bulb in the pack, but I tried to follow the instruction on the box. There was not an app by the name on the box! There were three with similar names. I picked the first. Started the “follow the instructions on your screen.” In the process, a pop up - do you want to up grade. Choose “continue”, got an error message, cleared the error message, and returned to “do you want an upgrade?” Well, you know where “continue” was going to lead! I refuse to pay more for an upgrade than the bulb cost me originally. So I know have an expensive manual light bulb.
