Can’t make an account

I have two emails. The app tells me both are “unavailable”… So, no shopping for me I guess. Update: just had to wait a couple of days and it worked just fine.

Great start but needs mechanical work

Great app. Love the idea but the execution of the “Near Me” tab is quite slow on the map. Really laggy and has a hard time keeping up as I click on local businesses after it takes forever to load. Love that someone can input their business among other things. Too buggy to use tho, even on desktop the map is slow too.

Changing my review because I was able to join finally. Still exploring it.

SSSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW

If you're planning to use this app, ensure you clear you schedule for the afternoon as the app tends to have such a severe lag in performance that you just give up on it all together.

<3 Parallel Economy!!!

5
I love the premise, and five stars for getting this concept up and running with amazing business suggestions. Thank you so much for helping show people the parallel economy so dollar-conscious customers can avoid shopping at places like Target! Your app directed me to a wonderful local beekeeper trinket shop where the owner had a real beehive inside -very cool! I do think some constructive criticism could help this app function a bit better: -Create a “show all” option on the “near me” tab. Filtering by business type is useful, but I wanted to just pull up the list and wasn’t able to do so. I had to use the map and scroll around. This would help your users locate a nearby freedom-oriented business without knowing exactly what they’re looking for. -Create an option to switch between the map view and list view based on the area shown on the map (to see a list of what is in the area you’ve selected. -Color-code the business types on the map or use icons (I only see blue and then a few purple/blue). -Designate online-only, both, and solely in-person stores more clearly. -Hone the search feature. I found many stores selling tumblers, but got no results when I searched the word.

Lag makes the app unusable

3
I’m not in a huge metropolis but when I try to view the nearest city that has some stores listed in it, the app pretty much comes to a crawl and is painfully slow to respond to anything I do. My phone is not old so I know it’s not my device. Please use a couple of sprints to optimize your code.

Not easy to use unless you know a business.

I want to search for products, like dresses for girls, as an example. I don’t know what business sells this, therefore, a search for products would be more user friendly. I mean, if you’re looking to replace Amazon, then you’ll have to mimic it. Anyway, to Amazon I go.

Good start but…

I was excited when I heard about this app given the state of the country and the choices we have to make. The app is a “directory of websites” at best. It does not work if you are looking for a specific product. If they can figure that out, the app would be better.

Still mostly made in China

1
Great concept but mostly every company listed selling goods are still “Made in China”. The CEO literally says “we sold our souls on the alters of cheap convenience” and “we have completely delegated our country to countries that hate us, our manufacturing…”. Yet the app features those exact companies we are selling their souls. There should be a verified “Made in America” badge and also an “Imported Goods” badge for every company listed to encourage accountability, transparency, and bringing back American manufacturing! The verified “American Made” would be a badge of honor and distinction.
