ECG+ integrates with Apple Health to unleash the greatest power of your Apple Watch ECG, by analyzing and calculating intervals like QT/QTc, PR or QRS, and heart rate variability (HRV) out of your ECG data. QT/QTc are critical measurements linked to life-threatening arrhythmias. HRV is widely considered one of the best objective metrics for physical fitness and determining your body’s readiness to perform. HRV refers to the variation in time between successive heartbeats, which is an indicator of the health of the autonomic nervous system. QT interval refers to the time it takes for the heart to recharge between beats, which is important for assessing cardiac health. In the ECG+ app, you can do many things about your ECG recordings from Apple Watch ECG - 1. HRV Trends - with HRV trends you can learn your health level changes. A up hill trend means a better physical fitness level and a down hill indicates you should pay more attention to your overall health. With QT trends you can monitor closely your QT intervals over a period of time and seek healthcare attention whenever a prolonged QT is identified automatically. 2. Measure QT and calculate QTc - ECG+ app automatically identify and measure QT for you, and you can choose one out of 6 QTc formulas to do the QTc calculation 3. Long QTc warning - the app automatically calculates and shows a long QTc warning if a QTc is exceeding the normal range (normal range is based on gender) 4. ECG report - ECG+ app provides a much more comprehensive report than the default report from Apple Health, and it includes R-R markings, HRV Poincaré plot, 6 intervals, heartbeat signatures and more, with which you can get a much clearer picture of how your heart is functioning Terms of use - http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula
Has helped me a lot with my a fib heart condition. Thanks.
I bought the Apple Watch for the sole purpose of using this app by the recommendation of my doctor, but it does not reliably capture by heart rhythms. I receive a “poor reading” no matter what I do. I have no confidence it will work to capture atrial fabulation in a true time of need, and I have wasted quite a bit of money on a watch I have no other need for.
Poor readings every time. Can’t be trusted.
The app had been running great. I’m not sure if it needs an update or something but it hasn’t been taking readings well.
My electrophysiology guy was impressed with the app so I know it is good.
How do I get help with this app?????
Very useful app!
This is supposed to show PAC’s and PVC’s. This does not identify those even though the event is seen on tracing.
Too bad to get the good stuff costs so much.
App Store info shows it was compatible with my phone. No listing for checking your watch nor does it list which watch series are or are not compatible. Nor gives any info to make you think this is something you need to check. After purchase, during setup, the app asks which watch series. At this point it states the app won’t work on series 1, 2, or 3! Would’ve been nice to have seen that first in the app info before purchasing!!!
