Bought this thinking it would come in handy, but really useless as it doesn't track and guide you based on where you are.
It would be great if the dot that indicates your current location was a different color other than Blue - even better if is was blinking constantly!
Driving solo I thought I could map and drive but it was too difficult. Plus there was no Verizon signal most of the trip. And offline maps wasn’t showing sites. The app allowed me to drive, focus on the road, and know when to turn off for a site. The app features a route, sites, and history of Maui. The cost is $10 but I think it’s worth it.
We downloaded this for a drive to Hana. Great facts about Hawaii all the way and good instructions on where to stop along the road.
We used this self-guided tour today and it worked great! Would definitely recommend.
Very disappointed. I purchased the full tour. Watched it download at my hotel. Got to Hana Highway, opened the app. Selected the tour, and the app closes. Rebooted my phone. Same behavior. Wasted money.
Bought the full tour and downloaded it. When I got on the road and tried to use it the app kept crashing. Useless. And wasted $7.
I have a iPhone 12 max with the latest IOS. App crashes when I click on play after downloading the purchased map. Tried customer support with no help.
Bought the app for the Road to Hana tour we were supposed to do tomorrow and it won’t even open. Thing just crashes immediately after we purchased the full Hana tape. We hit play and boom app closes out with no help. Useless!
The audio was very informative, and was great that the audio was automatic, but the map was where the audio started and not where the actual stop was located making it difficult to use this app to navigate the road.
