Restricted access
While it is nice to have safety measures in place, Aura has been nothing but frustration. It will not let me access local business websites like PetSmart and others. It restricts access to so many daily common sites and places me in California when searching map locations. I’m just about done with this completely.
Aura is AWFUL now.
When Aura first came out I signed up for it and loved it. One of the best things about it was the customer service. When I had a question about an alert I received, I called up, and quickly got a professional, knowledgeable, well spoken American representative who helped me out immediately. I have been receiving alerts about one of my accounts not being monitored any more, but when I called Aura their voicemail asks you to press a number on your phone, but when you do, there is no response. It just keeps asking you to press a key over and over. I tried the chat and that didn’t work either. Aura seems to have gone to crap like a lot of things. I suspect they may have been bought. I will be canceling asap and getting a refund for my latest payment.

Horrible
Did an update every single password in the manager I’ve painstakingly worked on is gone. It was a horrible interface to begin with but I muddled through it and now it’s gone.
app too many glitches
Right now I am constantly having to allow tracking which I do putting all my passwords they disappear and I’m beyond frustrated and I don’t always have time to call and talk to people for an hour so I’m not very happy right now
Afraid I was hacked
I was so afraid someone had my information and even though I don’t have much I knew I needed someone to look after my acts. I check around the internet and found that AURA was the best .I’m so pleased with the attention they show me and all my financial accounts. THANK YOU AURA MY PIECE OF MIND MEANS EVERYTHING. THATS PRICELESS
Decent financial app awful VPN
I do like Aura for assistance in navigating identity fraud and providing significantly faster information than LifeLock and others…….. However their VPN is immensely frustrating, it routinely and I mean at least once a day stops my phones internet from working entirely. I then either have to restart my phone to turn off VPN on the app or in some instances have to remove the app and reinstall. Every time I reinstall I’m incredibly tempted to cancel this subscription due to frustration. I have commented on the app several times that the VPN is incredibly glitchy and never received any response from Aura. It’s really sad because with a relatively functional VPN this would be a 4 star review, but given where they appear to be content having VPN functionality I’m hard pressed to recommend this app to anyone.
Switched over from bitdefender and I couldn’t be more happy!
Everything works great and super easy to use. Switch from bitdefender and I’m so happy I did. Love it!

Overall, we loved Aura. Their credit protections are comprehensive, their identity monitoring is robust, and their bonus features — the malware protection and the VPN — put them head and shoulders above many other identity theft protection services we've reviewed so far. We also loved their design.Jul 20, 2022 3/12/23 update: love the VPN, love linking and protects up to 10 devices! Malware scans, all 3 credit bureau reported, adding my wife, HIGHLY recommended (both of em 😉)
Excellent customer service
Not only does this app help me to feel safe and secure the customer service is incredible! Everyone I’ve spoken with is super friendly and in most cases I don’t have to wait that long to speak with someone! Even if they are busy at the moment there’s an option to call you back so you don’t have to wait on hold! And even then the wait isn’t very long! I absolutely recommend this app!
