It was working fine until…

Gorgeous and fun weather application. The surprise subscription is what threw me off. I get it, you want to make your money for the continued work you put into it. I just think it should have been up front. I was wondering why it wouldn’t show the weather and I come to read reviews and see why. I’ll uninstall and maybe keep an eye on it and see what changes.

Features I used to have access to I no longer do after the recent update. I’m not paying a subscription for just widgets. Especially at that price. Awful way to operate as a company. Will never download anything from you again.

Money Hungry

Paid for the app now they decide to hide functions behind a subscription wall. They could have easily opt for an legacy model for old users. Such questionable ethics.

Greedy Developers

With the new update, Lock Screen widgets have gone from being a free feature to a paid feature. I uninstalled this app.

Never paywall previously free features

Uninstalling because widgets are now locked behind subscription. A subscription which I would have gladly paid for better themes or other customisations - new features, not old ones paywalled because of your greed. You lost a potential customer today.

Changed to Paywall for Widgets

Turns out the “widget updates” in version 3.6 was just moving all the widgets behind a paywall. I very much liked having this app as my Home Screen widget, the design is beautiful, but asking $15 for just the widgets is not worth it. $5 I could see but not $15 when it’s just for the design; the functionality is nothing different than a host of other apps. Shame. Other note: It’s slow to update the weather sometimes on the widgets (you have to click into it to update sometimes). Worth noting if you’re planning on spending.
