Great idea but be more transparent

1
This app is a great idea but there needs to be more transparency about the cost of it. Now it’s not showing up in my subscriptions for me to be able to cancel it. It seems a little predatory for an ADD all knowing it’s users wouldn’t have the best executive functioning and will more than likely forget to cancel a free trial. There is a major need for transparency about costs and intention, and that goes for all apps, but especially this one!

No way to cancel subscription

1
I downloaded this app to use the trial and test it out. I chose the plan that says .50c a day. After deciding I didn’t want it, I went to cancel and it transferred me to a page where I clicked “cancel subscription” it then followed up with questions asking me if I still wanted to cancel it. It gave me directions to go into my App Store and check for subscriptions and cancel through there, however there is no subscription for Inflow listed in my apps…. I checked my settings on my phone subscriptions as well and there was still no listing for inflow! I was charged $200 this morning and I still cannot access any cancel button since it is not listed under any subscriptions. This is unacceptable.

way too much money

1
app says that money shouldn’t prevent anyone from treating their adhd, but if you can’t pay yearly the cost quadruples. I’m so disappointed and now i can’t use the app at all, why do you have to be greedy

Scam

1
Scummy app that makes you fill out very personal information only to tell you at the end that you only have a week of “free trial” until you have to pay. Making money off the backs of mental health issues

Absolutely love this app! Have referred it to clients!

This may be the second review I have ever written for an app since apps were created, but that’s how strongly I feel about InFlow! I am a psychotherapist in private practice who has been reading into the new info available around the number of under diagnosed WOMEN with ADHD (or formerly A.D.D. for inattentive type). As a result, I have been able to identify and better diagnose a handful of adult women that were never diagnosed but CLEARLY display textbook symptoms, including myself! (Previously, you couldn’t diagnose adults with ADHD who hadn’t been diagnosed as children). Being able to provide a more accurate diagnosis and treatment plan has brought tons of relief and VALIDATION to all of us. Being able to explain to friends and family that we do indeed work differently and explain that we’re learning how to harness and capitalize on those differences is empowering and helps garner support. THIS APP HAS HELPED ME TO GUIDE NOT ONLY MYSELF THROUGH ADDITIONAL STRATEGIES, but MY CLIENTS! I usually try out an app, tool, technique on a few willing parties (including myself) before referring others and this one is at the top of my list! It’s interactive because you get a LIVE COACH and a FOCUS COMMUNITY with the $50 paid version which we all agree is WORTH IT since support and accountability are a huge roadblock for those of us with ADHD. Additionally, the lesson modules are VERY WELL DEVELOPED and very informative for people just learning about their behavior patterns. I highly recommend this app for anyone trying to get a better understanding of their ADHD symptoms and want to learn strategies to work through them that better align with how you find motivation. Discuss with your therapist if you have one!

Wasn’t what I’d hoped for

3
I saw an ad and downloaded Inflow with hopes of finding ways to implement the information given. I liked some of the modules initially but didn’t feel that it really helped with organizing tasks or finding solutions to managing ADHD. I forgot to cancel my trial on time so I ended up with the $200 charge and decided to make the best of it. I’ve tried using it several times over the last 10 months, sometimes for weeks straight and sometimes i forget it exists despite the reminders. This may work for mild ADHD or someone wondering if they have it but I didn’t notice anything special about it.

Was not very helpful for me.

2
In the beginning it seemed like a good app but it was sooo much reading. For a lot of the “modules” the app reads the text for you but I felt very under-stimulated and no longer felt motivated after 2 days of just continuously reading and taking quizzes about what I read about over and over again. One thing I struggled with the most with ADHD is grade school and school settings and I noticed the trauma coming back of trying to keep up with readings and being tested on my “intelligence”. When I saw the add for this app, they had that AHDH friendly text advertised and I couldn’t figure out how to activate that feature. We also get personal coaches but mine flat out told me after just two days of using the app that she was going to be out of office for five whole days of my 7 day free trial. The feedback they were giving me also was not helpful as they only replied with validations that my feelings mattered rather than providing quality advice. My experience was very poor on my end unfortunately.

Can’t try without trial

1
They need payment info (thru App Store) before you can even try it.

Don’t Do it

1
It isn’t worth the hassle. They say they’ll remind you when your subscription is ending- they won’t although they WILL send 3 emails a day about other stuff. Thankfully, they weren’t able to withdraw the charge, but when I click the link to cancel my subscription like it says on their Notion page, it takes me to get a subscription. There is no option to cancel and it won’t let me do anything besides pay for a subscription.

Sweet relief

I’ve only been using it for a few days and it is changing my life and lessening my anxiety. It’s crazy that little changes can make such a big difference.🙌
