Frustratingly Inconsistent
I like the idea, and the UI/UX is good. That's about it for the good news. The bad news is the AI model is severely undertrained. Out of the dozens of shots taken, the program identified maybe five actual swings. Out of the very few swings it did recognize, it repeatedly misidentified various parts of my swing (setup, takeaway, etc.). I can't imagine getting past the free trial with the current model.
Great App, but stopped working for me after a month
This was a great app and was helping me diagnose my swing a great deal. I was consistently analyzing 20-50 swings a day for 4 weeks, but after that the app will no longer identify swings. I would love to continue to use the app, but it will not work.
To much area needed
You need to have the camera 10’ back from the golfer. I did not have this space. To get the 10’ the camera had to be at a an angle which skewed the analysis of my stance and takeaway.
Sparrow app crashes
This app crashes constantly! It is unable to record multiple swing! I have purchased this app! It worked fine as a free app, however upon purchase it become Un useable!!! Also to attempt to solve app instability by Un install and Re install ! ALL captured swing are lost! NO data is saved to user account profile! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! There is no support! Must be a project the developer is NOT commuted to! If they were it would have been a good app!!! Bummer!!!
Good concepts; many faults
I downloaded the app and started using it with some success. It correctly guided me on a few tweaks to my stance that improved ball striking. Unfortunately, the “honeymoon” phase with the app wore off quickly. The majority of the times I am trying to analyze a swing, the app doesn’t begin at address; instead it tends to start a few seconds after I begin my backswing leading to many “red flags”. Also, the head on analysis, to be fair it is in beta, misread my hand and club relative to my body. I love the idea and the tips given but the app doesn’t seem to accurate enough. Also, I’ve experienced multiple crashes in a single session. I have written the developers via email with no response.
Couldn’t even log on
Downloaded the app and first it was saying my phone number was invalid. Then I typed in my email and never got a code sent to me. When I tried to hit resend code it gave me an error. Seemed like a promising app but after many tries I give up with it.
Great but missing some features.
I’m I am enjoying using this app to record my video swings. The automatic swing feature is great. I would love if they had a few more features such as saving the video to my camera roll and being able to share my video at full speed. I would also like it to have options to watch the video playback at different speeds, such as 1/4,1/2,full or loop. have speed full speed. These features are part of some other golf apps that I use.
Will not let me get past registration
I used my email when prompted, and code was never sent to my email. When I asked that code be resent I received an http error. So I can’t use the app
Best golf app
Would give a 10 star if they let me. App score went from 7.0, to 8.3, to 9.3. I feel like I actually have a real golf swing now. Thank you
