Pretty good so far!

So I’m only on the prologue and sadly I can only download the demo, but this game is pretty cool! The graphics are stunning and the voiceovers are awesome. This kinda is like a rip off Zelda though, But still, it’s really cool.

Little to no POC representation and diversity.

About a year ago, Hoyoverse released Sumeru, which is a region based on Southern Asia/India and the skin tone for many of the characters from there is still very VERY light, basically cream colored which is 1. an unrealistic skin tone, (minus those with albinism most likely) and 2. there is still so little diversity in skin tone of NPC’s AND characters. There is serious whitewashing problem in this company and I do not like it. Xinyan, the one black character is near my skin tone when you color pick and I am a (fairly tanned) white person. I know it isn’t my issue but representing others is still important and I want to make others feel represented. In my PERSONAL *OPINION* all of the characters need to be made a bit darker to make them more accurate to someone’s actual skin tone.

Uh…what?

My sister was playing some random game on her phone, and an ad for genshin popped up. But here’s the thing. It was a clip of my and my sister playing genshin in co-op mode. I was Klee, and she was Nahida. She’s low AR, so I was helping her. I couldn’t see the names exactly, because I wasn’t close enough to read it. But my sister said the Klee (the ad was in the pov of nahida) had MY USERNAME. They were even gliding in Sumeru, where me and my sister explored!! I know that genshin can collect content from their users, but they put our co-op on an ad? I’m not mad, just surprised. I’ll continue searching for the ad and update 👍🏽
