No issues and great customer service
They kicked all old users out
For now all old users need to pay for service, we can’t just restore via iCloud like old version… time to remove this and using iOS build-in one and forget this
Missing Cards Functionality
Generally a good password manager Missing 2 key features for me Needs a special field type in each item for an ID card so I can store images of plastic cards issued for memberships etc so you can show your card when needed. Attaching images as related items is clunky and means 2 items for every membership. Should know about front and back of card as well as a PIN for the card. Then they need to add barcodes, QR codes and nfc to electronically present cards. Second missing item is business cards. I should be able to create a personal card and a work card that I can electronically “hand out” to people to give them my contact info. Should have the info and also a pretty card image.
1Password has become less and less of a joy to use
1Password has really gone down the drain on reliability with the 1Password 8, especially on the Mac. While I do love 1Password, I’ll be the first to say that as soon as Apple makes a standalone password app for Keychain, I will likely switch to that. 1Password is a necessary app for me, but the ease of use has gone down. The browser extensions are unreliable and buggy, and the apps just aren’t as intuitive, fast, or easy to use anymore. There just aren’t any better options out there really. Which is unfortunate when I give this app 3 stars and what that says about password managers nowadays.

I have spent the last hour searching and trying to figure out how to scan the QR code with my iPhone for two-factor authentication. Still nothing. Why does it have to be so f&€king complicated?! I will never get that time back 🤬 Update… After continued correspondence with the support team, they were able to resolve my issue. I feel that the instructions for adding a new device weren’t clear as I was trying to find a way to scan the QR code being shown on my computer to “add a new device”. All I needed to do was to enter the code from my authenticator app, which I had used to set up two-factor authentication originally.
Reliable, excellent UI
I’ve used 1Password for years, and I find the interface to be head and shoulders above any other password manager software I’ve ever used. And it gets better with every release. I recommend this app to everyone I meet.
No Autofill
I “upgraded” to 1 password 8 on my iPad and everything seemed to work, so I uninstalled v7. I subsequently noted that autofill no longer worked - when I selected a username or password field, no prompt even appeared. After some frustration and searching, I discovered that, using the AppStore “Purchased Apps” function I could reinstall v7. Having done so, autofill works once again. 1 password 8 can wait until it functions correctly!

Auto fill Does not work half of the time now.. might as well just use Apple Passwords
Version 7 was so much better UX
The UX was so much better in version 7. This version 8 has been a terrible let down and step backward
Progressively less user friendly
Program is becoming far less intuitive than it used to be and cumbersome to do anything simple. Trying to set my default vault so I can delete my old one is basically impossible and I can’t upgrade my plan to family by any means that makes sense.
