Unbelievable money grabbing

1
Can’t believe you really make it halfway through a series and then you have to pay to read more. Like Shonen jump is so much better for manga. $2 a month and you can read 100 chapters a day…to unlock the next 100 chapters on INKR I’d have to pay $100…on top of the $5 per month? Trash

Stories previously free with INKR extra quite literally overnight and with no warning cease to be

3
As I said in the title, I have INKR extra and have had to stop reading multiple works 4 and 5 hunter chapters in because suddenly they’re asking you to pay coins for every chapter. There’s never any warning and it seems completely pointless to have INKR extra if all of the good works you get to read as a benefit suddenly aren’t anymore. I pay for extra because it’s cheaper to read and there’s tons of good works included but what’s the point in continuing to use the app if all of them are going to stop being free without any warning? That said they do offer free ink but the exchange rate to turn ink into coins is 1000ink for 5 coins. It’s absolutely ridiculous how long it takes to gather ink just for five measly coins. Despite these things the reading selection is vast and they’re mostly all quality reads. Just wish they would change the things mentioned above.

Scam Subscription

I rarely leave reviews but this is just terrible. This review is meant to inform new customers that you have to pay extra for chapters after paying the subscription. I am cancelling mine right now

An awesome app with a great user interface!

5
A lot of the reviews on here are complaining about the paywall and comparing Inkr to Manga Rock, but the bottomline is: artists deserve to be paid for their work. I understand that not everyone has enough money to read as many comics as they’d like, but it’s not okay to expect artists to churn out free comics. This industry will not be able to thrive if artists and publishers are not being properly compensated. Now, onto my review of the app itself. Inkr has one of the nicest user interfaces out of all of the comic apps I’ve tried. I can tell that a lot of detail went into the aesthetics, and the app itself is very user-friendly. Also, as a fan of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese comics, I like how I can access them in one app. I’ve discovered a lot of great titles so far, and I’m looking forward to future releases. All in all, if you’re someone who reads comics from scanlation sites, please look into how scanlations effect the industry. If you truly love comics, please consider reading them from legal sites!

Don’t do it!

The best way to describe it is saying it’s like destiny 2. Everything decent will cost you too much money, you will be nickel and dimed. Just side load your content!

7 Deadly Sins no longer included with Inkr Extra

1
Wow. I’m kind of sorry now that I took a break from Inkr. I resubscribed today and found out that the 7 Deadly Sins manga can no longer be unlocked with Inkr Extra. :-(

It’s okay I guess

I remember using manga rock and it was a great app and today, I just found out about INKR comics. I browsed thought the app and the app is alright, but I still don’t understand why I would have to pay for some of these chapters. For example when I saw Apotheosis, I noticed that after chapter season 1 episode 80, you would have to pay to unlock it which I think is ridiculous. I could go on some other many site and unlock all those chapters for free. Also, it’s not like any different from other apps like MangaMan or manga reading websites. The only difference is that you need to pay to read it. So in all, I give it 2 stars.
