Every profile is reviewed by the membership committee before being accepted. This way you get to be part of a group of quality singles who want something real. Prospective members can download the app and submit an application. Once submitted, applications are placed on a waitlist and are reviewed by the membership committee. The membership committee looks for quality and detailed profiles with clear images. An applicant’s status can change from waitlist to accepted at any time. BlackGentry Deluxe is an auto-renewable subscription service provided within the app. Activate BlackGentry Deluxe and get access to send unlimited likes, rewind profiles, hide ads, send unlimited Direct Messages, see who likes you, change locations, and see Second Chance. Auto-renewable subscriptions for BlackGentry Deluxe: 1-month ($24.99), 3 months ($49.99), 6-months ($69.99), 12-months ($99.99) durations BlackGentry VIP is an auto-renewable subscription service provided within the app. Activate BlackGentry VIP and you will get all the features of Deluxe (send unlimited likes, rewind profiles, hide ads, send unlimited direct messages, see who likes you, change locations, see Second Chance) PLUS ability to enable incognito mode and access Gentry Lounge. Auto-renewable subscriptions for BlackGentry VIP: 1-month ($34.99), 3 months ($69.99), 6-months ($99.99), 12-months ($149.99) durations Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. There is absolutely nothing pre-subscription that tells me it’s worth paying for. Same quality of men I can find on POF. And if you are intrigued, there’s no way to get even an initial contact. This is super disappointing bc I was excited to support a FUBU business. Lame.
Glitchy, filters don’t work
Doesn’t let allow you to filter out matches, it’ll say it’s no one within 500 miles. Also if u swipe the the right a certain way it uses all your crush tokens, waste of money they need to partial refund until it’s all fixed Update: I have reached out twice still no improvement, refund, solution. I will gladly retract my review once fixed and or refunded

Where are the males? You even matched me to.. MYSELF! don’t waste your money Ladies. And the app glitches- shuts down at weird moments.

I guess you can’t get anything good for free and why are the prices so high just to message people, bring back facebook dating
huge disappointment
as a man looking for a genuine relationship with someone my age and wants a decent women that carries herself well all i saw on the app was people 10 years older than me and the ladies i did find around my age was very limited and never gave me a like back i didn’t match once for an entire 2 weeks not even once i would have to say for a young man who is in good shape has high ambition dressed well and in spiritually inclined this app is not for me at all in fact a bum would have a better chance matching on your platform GOOD DAY
Has bugs but also potential
A common bug i keep encountering is whenever I’m looking through someone’s profile the app will glitch and then say I’ve ran out of users in my area no matter how far I set my distance. That’s another thing it doesn’t accurately show how far or close other users are.

What’s the point?
Can swipe left or right like all dating apps but can’t see who you matched with or send a message unless you pay. I was wondering why everyone was had their social media in their bio but can’t even see their bio after a match to even message. Might aswell paywall swiping. Download if you look want to look at peoples picture.
Has potential
I’d like to give this app more starts and I will admit it’s accurate for black dating, however the app is very gitchy. I paid $25 for the membership and I can say it’s not worth it; sometimes I can’t see who matched me or the app doesn’t update when someone sends you a message other times it just crashes; often times I read profiles and they say they can’t get messages so hit their IG, and for us dating we know once we get sent to DM’s whatever we wanted to say is lost in thst sea 😂😂😂
