I recently switched the name of my Network and lost Sonos connectivity. I have a Playbar and two speakers in surround, three other Play:1s, and a first generation Play:5. Apart from the 5, they are all compatible with this app. But I have been unable to re-create my rooms with the v2 app-compatible devices, I am at my wits end. I connected my playbar, a speaker pair, and another single speaker and have used that system effectively. It is now the case that if I go upstairs, the app can’t find my speakers downstairs. And when I am upstairs, it seems to create a new network setting for another of my devices. I’ve spent days on this bouncing back-and-forth, resetting each device, resetting to factory. I have reverted to the Sonos one app. I have insured all devices have been updated. I never thought I would hate a product I love so much.
It’s crazy that the iPhone 14 has been out for months and Sonos hasn’t updated the app to support Trueplay for EQ. Since I got my new iPhone I’ve gotten more speakers for my home theater and can tune them the way Sonos wants me to. It’s very annoying.
When changing the volume in grouped rooms, upon releasing the slider it adjusts the volume in each room randomly by 3-6%
When they work, they are great. Too many frequent problems and unstable connections. Tried everything. My local network is fine. Sonos just has stability problems. Customer service couldn’t resolve either.
The most wonderful thing I have ever purchased in my life!!!
Be ready to listen to music
My Sonos is great when it works. However, it is prone to losing the network & needing to be totally reset more than it should.
Constantly losing roam stereo connection to system. The system connections frequently fall off for no reason. Love the sound, hate the software.
Except for speakers randomly cutting out ALL THE TIME, Sonos is great.
