The app is great. The interface and being able to see a chart of your spending and all your accounts is awesome. But it connecting the auto save to my bank has had been in and out and customer service has been hard to communicate with on the issues and resolve them.
I canceled my subscription but the app is still Removing cash to the app. I have contacted customer support and they said it had to use chat but since I canceled my subscription, the ability to Use chat is disabled. Do not use the app. Customer service is lacking.
Only have been using for a few days but seems helpful so far and has been giving me some good tips and how I can regulate my spending.
it won’t let me auto save
It has some features that I had been looking for, but could not find in others budgeting app for the longest time. Namely the ability to set up saving rules (like automatically putting aside a percentage of my paycheck and setting a limit on eating out.) If you are a visual person, Charlie is definitely for you. It helps you see where your money is going and celebrates with you when you make better choices. Worth the trial.
Was excited to start my new budgeting journey. Opened the app, signed up, added my account to, and then I clicked next. After that the next screen said there will be a charge monthly. I’m tired of these budgeting apps wanting to take our money. After all we are all trying to better our finances and get out of debt. I get that it’s only $5 a month but come on! Make it a one time purchase at the very least! I’m tired of these stupid subscriptions. They all add up. So it’s a no for me for this app. On to the next one.
So I just recently started establishing my credit and I don’t have a lot of debt, but this app has given me tricks that I would’ve never even thought of before. For example, my very first loan has a higher ARP than my car loan and it suggested me to pay off my loan with the higher ARP to increase my credit score. I would’ve just kept paying minimum, but now that I know this info guess what I’m paying off first.
Dope and easy to work with a three year old could use it
They make you setup an account and link your bank accounts before they even tell you it cost money. Yes you get a free trial but then it’s $4.99 a month. I hate that they make you go through everything and right before you finish they are like’ “Oh btw it’s not free.” Seems deceitful to me, it should be stated up front.
