If you want to workout whether it’s to lose weight, help overall health, or just to feel better about yourself and you don’t know how to get a routine going or how to workout in general…THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU. I have struggled with staying consistent in my fitness journey and this app has completely shattered that reality. These courses aren’t for just a week and it’s over, you get going and when you accomplish one you just move on to the next. It’s a never ending cycle of completely bettering yourself and your health. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know!
Love love love this app been my go to foreva. Just one wish to make it the best ever….I wish it had an Apple TV app so I could connect it to my tv when I do workouts at home!
I am loving this app but it could use some improvements. One of the biggest ones is the ability to re-arrange workouts while actively in the workout. Sometimes the next exercise I need to do used equipment that is being used by someone else. So I have to skip that entire exercise (rests included) go to the next one, and then backtrack to that exercise. It feels clunky in the app and should be changed for easier use. Also, there needs to be extra time given for setting up for exercises like hip-thrusts. I cannot rest AND set up for that exercise in the short rest time given.
So I’m a beginner. I used to watch Whitney’s videos on youtube and it was great but I couldn’t listen to music while playing a video. I LOVE that I can watch the video of the workout, while playing music, and not have to stop. The timer sound is great because once you have the workout down you don’t have to watch the clock.
I like the workouts on this app but it’s really frustrating how the Apple Watch integration only sometimes works. I just finished a full workout and it wasn’t recorded on my apple fitness app so it looks like I only did 11 minutes of an active workout rather than a fun hour. I also want to echo that I wish the rest times were adjustable. Another issue I’ve had is that it’s not clear when things are dropsets for example the lateral raises because there is no indication in the actual exercises. Also it’s a bit annoying that there is only a short clip to show how to do the exercise but no actual instruction, so I sometimes have to go to YouTube to look up how to do an exercise if I’m not familiar with it since the in app video is not sufficient. The last thing I find perplexing is that after the 45 minutes of cardio there is no 60 seconds of rest or anything it just goes straight into stretching and I find I have to pause the whole workout to walk over to stretch and start it up again. It’s a small thing but it does feel rather inconvenient to have that break between stretching and starting cardio and then no break after. Overall I enjoy the workouts but these are just a few kinks I’ve come across
love the app!! great workouts! my main con is that there seems to be a bug with the apple watch connection. sometimes the title of the workout/move (sumo squat, hip thrust, etc) does not change on the watch or overlaps with the previous move. i will go to look to my watch to see what is next and i am not able to read the workout or will only see the previous move. other than that love it!
This app genuinely changed my life. For years I had wanted to go to the gym consistently, but never knew exactly what to do or how to do it. This app shows how to do the workouts from different angles, alternative exercises, as well as tracking your progress! This app has so many amazing features and I truly believe Whitney put so so much hard work and dedication into this app. There are so many intricate details that make the app aesthetically appealing as well as functional! Everything is super easy to follow and to understand. Many many many different workouts to do as well as programs that vary from a few weeks, to months. This app changed my fitness lifestyle for the better! So so so worth the money.
I know it sound’s annoying, but are the workouts all behind a paywall?! You’re telling me that some of these workouts couldn’t be free. I wanted to use this app because I see Whitney’s videos and was curious, but really having to pay for all of it is such a bummer.
I love this app so much! Whitney has developed such a gem of an app with everything you could possibly want in an app and program. I love that it is as simple as pressing start workout and it tells you (and shows you) exactly what to do. The only thing I would love to see added is specification about if rep counts are per side or total for moves that alternate left to right. Overall the program is 10/10 and has helped be fall back in love with strength training!
I have been working out for years but, always needed guidance on what workouts to do. I love that you count the reps on your own before going to the next workout, so you can go at your own pace and that it also shows me on my Apple Watch. Also, that it has options for at home and gym workouts.
