I literally love everything about this app. it keeps getting better and better! I have had it for a while and needed to get motivated to actually use it, now I am addicted! I like being able to journal each day and after a workout receive reward stickers! seriously can’t complain with Alive, absolutely love Whitney Simmons 🤩
I love Whitney, I love her workouts. The app is great- works well and easy to use/ aesthetically appealing. My only comment on feedback is that I do wish the workout had voiceover or narration from Whitney. The best part of her YouTube videos are her narration on how to properly do the exercise so you’re getting maximum results and not hurting yourself. I wish she did a small narration at the start of each new exercise to explain it and give details on what to focus on - wouldn’t need to play every time the exercise is done just the first time it is introduced in a circuit. Or at the minimum maybe a quick voiceover when you first start the workout on what to focus on in general. Otherwise I love the app and love the actual workouts themselves!
I love that I can do the reps at the same tempo with Whitney. Also like that the audio from my music app is not lowered while I’m working out. I’m doing the alive 8 week program and it’s challenging enough to where I am sore and sweating but easy enough to where I can do this at home. I can’t wait to see what’s next !
I love all the positivity the app brings!! The journaling, the progress pics, weight tracking and very easy to follow workouts!! I deleted all my other fitness apps because of this one! And I love the colors on here too! Great app 10/10 recommend!
This is the only way I work out & it’s been years since I have consistently worked out and actually looked forward to it! The app is everything I ever wanted! It’s like a personal training session in my home with step by step instruction and a timer! I never thought I’d see the day where I was excited to work out every single day! Ahh love this app!!!
was really surprised by how much i love this app. whitney makes it so fun and engaging with the colors and animations. i love the journal and gratitude component and the workout is really easy to follow. also the timer is a huge help for me. ONE THING i wish we could do was note the weight we used on each exercise. it’d be a great way to mark progress and see how that workout was overall. actually, a “how do you fee” pre and post workout would also be cool since the journal could be about just the day. but overall, highly recommend, and this is straight up the only fitness app i’ve ever used. i’m not one to usually use them.
Disappointed that you have to pay just to have free access. Smh
Not sure why the at home workouts are full body workouts everyday. It’s not effective and it’s repetitive. A little disappointed :/
I really wanted to like this app and it was the first time I’ve ever tried subscribing or paying for workout routine or anything close to a trainer. I had such high hopes for this app because she does such a great job with her YouTube channel and Instagram. Her YouTube channel is very well done tons of variety lots of energy which I know is hard but that’s what I had going into the app. I am very sorry that I don’t like this app but what can you do? Tips for the developers or Whitney I would say that it’s not very interactive there’s no videos showing me her doing the workouts, there doesn’t seem like that much variety or diversity. There’s not really any interaction/ dialogue. I’m just gonna stick to my own workouts and plans and YouTube videos, since I can’t go to the gym.
I’ve been following Whitney on YT for a few years now. I finally decided to try her app. I love it! I like that when I start a workout plan I’m able to see an overview of the progress and I can do a different workout that isn’t the “next” workout in the series. This is mostly because sometimes I have access to a gym and sometimes I don’t. It would be awesome if I were able to mark a workout as “done” so the program doesn’t take me an eternity to finish because I can’t do them in the exact order. I don’t know if this is intentional, but it would be nice to have.
