I have tried a few workout plans before but this one takes the cake. I love that there are alternates for each workout and videos of how to do it. I feel so much more confident in the gym. And taking a rest day doesn’t make me feel bad anymore because it’s part of the plan! Highly recommend for beginner or not.
I really do love this app and love Whitney Simmons! I am on alive 2.0 and it has been the only workout program I have really kept consistent and not gotten bored with! Each workout challenges me and I love the versatility. What could improve is to have a notes section for each workout where I could annotate things like which machine I used (if there are more than one in the gym) or if I felt like I could have pushed my weight more. Also a worded description of each move would be really helpful to know how to engage the most mind muscle connection possible. Can you make these updates?
This app is really flexible and accommodating to how you want to track your workout or make adjustments. The workouts alone make it all worth the purchase!
i love this app. the only change i'd want to see is to be able to pin the program i'm currently on, this way i don't have to scroll to find the one i'm using. other than that this is everything in a fitness app i'd want!
This workout make me feel alive, I never thought I could feel so good after a workout less than an hour. It pumps me up gives me extra energy, I feel amazing!
I love the workouts and the app itself but something’s GOTTA be done about its compatibility with Apple Watch/the health app. Half the time it won’t pull up on my watch as the workouts going and if it does it won’t track any calories. It’s starting to make me not wanna use the app at all! Please fix!
To make this short and sweet - amazing app, amazing workouts, amazing community. If you’re just starting your gym journey or been in the gym for years and looking for a new challenge this app is for you. The only thing I wish it did was observe the “rest day”. It just skips right over it and most of the time I forget or feel like I’m behind because the app said I should’ve had a rest day but because it doesn’t “observe” it, when you open the app it says it’s not a “rest day” anymore. If you wanna skip the rest day, great, do it! But if you wanna use the rest day, I believe it should stay on that day. IMO.
I have to say, at first I was a little disappointed because I had a tough time finding a challenging enough program but once I did OMG! When I tell you my legs were ready to give out halfway through the first workout I knew I should keep going with the program and I am so glad I did. I am not done but I see progress everyday! The app overall is very user friendly and I love I literally just show up to the gym, get a mat ready and I’m ready to go. The only other thing that would be a nice feature is adding a macro calculator and some meal ideas.
Could not recommend this app more! It has helped me in more ways than one. Being able to walk into the gym with a plan eases my anxiety and builds my confidence. I completed the 3 day essentials programs back to back and noticed clear improvements in my form and strength. The guided stretching has improved my recovery 10 fold. If you’re on the fence, DO IT.
I already love Whitney and you can really tell she took a great amount of time developing this app. Not to mention it’s just so pretty! It has everything you need from beginner to advanced and the workouts are really centered around common body goals the majority of women have. The videos are very clear and there is one for every single exercise so you don’t need to YouTube videos 😂❤️ love that The only thing I’d like added is to be able to note different amounts of weight performed for each set because I do vary with the weight I do for each set and I could only really enter one weight for the entire particular exercise. Keep it going Whitney you’re great!
