Learned a lot with the tutorial and was able to jump right into skirmishes. Lot of depth, will be playing this a lot.
I enjoy the game, but whenever I try to log in to my Asmodee account, it tells me to check my Internet (which is working fine). Problem has persisted since game launch. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
Sync issues make this impossible to play the async multiplayer mode. Avoid.
The game is slick. But MAN, the app is buggy right now. Had a CPU game where the game just stopped moving. Had a friend game where the game just disappeared from the lobby and I can’t get back in. Highly recommend the game, highly recommend waiting a month or so to buy the game.
What a mess this game is. If is so utterly mired down in complexity that even the tutorial makes no sense. Really upset that I spent the money on this.
I haven’t been able to get past round 3 in any of the scrimmages I’ve tried. The app simply doesn’t work. I generally don’t have any problems on the pc version on Steam, but this iPhone app just wasn’t ready for primetime.
Before I give a review, I’m having an issue with syncing my DWD purchase between my iPhone and my iPad. I purchased DWD (and the app) on my iPhone, and then launched it on my iPad. However, while I have an Asmodee account which is synced on both devices, it’s requiring me to pay for DWD again on my iPad. Is the intent that we have to pay for DWD multiple times or is this a bug?
