The Strikeman app allows users to practice their shooting skills without the need for real ammunition. Using our laser bullet, target and smart phone mount, the app records the target and records the users shot scores based on where the laser hit the target. The app is composed of 3 sections: Section 1 – Training The training section is the initial area of the app where the user can practice their shooting skills. Upon beginning a session, a warning screen is shown to ensure that proper firearm safety is taking place before beginning a session. Once the user agrees, the target appears on the screen. The user calibrates the screen to the target by using two fingers to cover the circumference of the target. Then, the distance from the target is selected and they can begin shooting. Each shot from the firearm triggers a laser, which emits a laser strike on the target, and the app records the score. Shooting metrics appear on the screen to show the user how they are doing during the session. This is accompanied by audio. Once the session is complete, all shots will be shown on the target and saved into an archive. Section 2 – History The history section provides screenshots, shooting metrics, and graphs for the user to track their progress. This includes average score, average range, total shots and total sessions. The information is presented on a histogram and a pie chart. This information is saved in an archive. Section 3 – Settings The settings section allows the user to turn on/off gun shot audio and voice feedback. Users can toggle the distance metric, selecting either feet or yards. They can also report an issue if the app isn’t working correctly. The App provides access to the initial tutorial to ensure that all safety precautions are being taken. The system works as advertised cartridges with batterys are easy install i ordered 45 acp 9 mm and 223/556 happy how system worked good practice n lots of fun
I purchased the Strikeman pro and was very disappointed. Is not compatible with IPhone at all. I tried multiple ways of configuring the target and did not work. Out of every 10 shots 1 shot would register and it’s completely off. Better off just going to the range!!
Need to get ammo compatible with the ruger sr series. The SR 40 to be exact lol
Always best to practice with the actual gun you carry rather than a plastic practice dummy. Put the target in any position in your house and practice from your best strategic home defense positions.
I use this as part of my CCW course as well as in my personal life. I can’t say enough about them as a company, any issues I’ve had they have helped me through it & have treated me with respect. Customer service and product quality will get my recommendation every time.
I’ve had to reload this app three times in the last 20 minutes because of all the glitches holy crap. Lesson learned, any physical electronic that I have to buy that need an app check the app out prior to purchase of item.
App Keeps Crashing and it’s very frustrating given how much money I have invested. I bought the pro only to discover that in addition to the more than $200 spent I now have to spend an additional $80/year to subscribe.
The interface looks great, but the functionality of the tutorial video or the setup leaves a whole lot to be desired. Definitely looking forward to updates.
I have to say that I am not the most technologically advanced, but this app helped me with my shot and the start up was very easy.
I purchased the Strikeman system before Christmas with a discount deal going on for the holidays. I loved the system from the start, with a couple of hiccups along the way. Since the last update, this has been my go to training tool. Yes, I love going to the range, but on those days that I cannot make it, Strikeman is here to help. The support is phenominal and the product is solid. There's probably a reason why some of their cartridges are sold out... and why I take too many breaks from my work at home.
