Pretty Good
For the most part I like this app. But, there are times that the automatically shot tracking really messes up. In those instances it’s annoying.

Too many bugs and crashes
I played 18 holes yesterday. It crashed 6 times and the round had to be restarted each time. So as a result I have 6 separate fragments of the round, each segment having a different portion of the round. There’s no easy way I can find to link these segments together. Also, the 1st putt and hole location features on Apple Watch app don’t sync with the phone app even if the phone is in your pocket resulting in me having to approximate the 1st putt and hole location after the round though I took time to mark them during the round 😩. So that advertised feature is useless.
Be careful about autorenewal Horrible customer support
Online support only and from outside of country. Never given options to actually speak to a person. No advance notice that a product would be renewing and refusing to discuss. Product did not work well so I stopped using it last year. difficult to modify and track golf scores. interface was difficult to navigate. Not good support to help learn and use product.
Not Bad
The quality is fair but not all the holes that i had were recorded properly. I had hacienda hills in the Villages have a par 5 on a par 3.
Not for me
I find this app impossible to use. I have a Garman watch, which is much easier and much more intuitive. This doesn’t seem to work at all unless I have my phone in my pocket, but I don’t wanna carry my phone in my pocket while I am playing. It did not sync with my Apple Watch. I hope I can get my money back, because I just bought this app this morning.

Don at V1 does an amazing job in his timely response to updating scorecards and addressing concerns regarding the recent migration of the app platform by getting the developers to include missing features such as replay speed
Great app
V1 Game is a great golf app. It pairs very well with the Apple Watch. It is easy to track shots as you play, review the round in detail after and then analyze the overall trends in you game.

Love the shot tracking and breadcrumbs feature. Wish caddy club recommendations and first putt location were on main Apple Watch screen.
Good App for Phone - poor for watch - deceptive billing
The app itself for the iPhone is very intuitive with tons of metrics for tracking your game and stats. However, the watch features are very tricky and not as user friendly. The reason I’m leaving one star instead of 3 is because the app will non-refundabley auto renew your subscription for 1 yr without any notification beforehand other than their support fine print. This is very deceptive IMO. To cancel your subscription you have to actually call their customer support and get confirmation, you can’t do it through the app or App Store (I guess they hope everyone is like me and forget to cancel is their business model) So now I have a $59.99 app that I don’t use. Their customer support says satisfaction guaranteed- you do the math.
