See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Like for Google Docs, everyone can collaborate in real-time. Set permissions and choose whether people can edit or just view your travel plans. STAY ORGANIZED Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? Organize your day by adding start (and end) times, perfect for keeping track of tickets and reservations. GET INSPIRATION & INFORMATION For each place, see key info like a description and picture of the place, average user ratings with links to reviews, opening hours, address, website, and phone number. Stay inspired by exploring top travel guides from the web that feature viewpoints, attractions, and restaurants, and from lists from Google Trips and Google Travel, as well as by other Wanderlog users, and add things to do from those guides to your trip plan with 1 click.

Amazing app

I used their website in the beginning of the year to plan and trip and I was very impressed with its functionality and user friendliness. Using it again and I’ve noticed they’ve improved the app even more! I can’t wait to continue to use this app and make the most of even my shortest getaways! Highly recommend.

Awesome travel planning app

Before I started the detailed planning for our upcoming 21 day trip to Scotland I thought, “there must be an app for that” now. I found Wanderlog and it’s amazing. It is easy to use, the interface with Google is essential, and I appreciate the developer is continuing to make improvements. I love that it’s free with all important planning features in place and there are no constant nags or app stops asking for money. It made me very happy to pay for a year of Pro in order to support the developers. 😊

Has it all, mostly

I looked at several other apps but Wanderlog beats them all in ease of use, connectivity to review and other websites, design, and ability to forward confirmation emails and record all data, including costs. I especially like the budget feature that automatically adds up hotel, travel and other costs. It’s easy to customize and share with other travelers in your group. Small gripe is a limited info on smaller cities (eg no info on Vila Real de Santo Antonio in Portugal’s Algarve area), which is surprising since a simple Google search will uncover great info. Not sure why that it is, so am hoping this will get resolved in additional iterations. But overall, the best travel planning app I’ve come across. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love WanderLog, I wish I would have found it sooner. It’s made trip planning so much easier. I tell everyone about it!

Found the best trip app ever

I didn’t know anything like this even existed! The app does more than I knew that I needed for planning the best trip. The recommendations are so helpful, especially when you’ve never been to that particular city/country. Sharing the itinerary is also a great feature. I’m still new to the app and learning new things, but so far I have no complaints!! I accidentally erased an itinerary I worked on for hours 😩. I used the chat feature and they were able to restore the trip for me. This saved me from having to redo everything!! Thanks again Harry for all your help, you’re the best 😊

Won’t Open

Flashes and then disappears when I open. Deleted and re-downloaded and same issue.

Not reliable

Sorry, it does not update reliably and automatically. Example -airline changed departure time for an upcoming flight. Received notification of change by email, itinerary in Wanderlog shows original departure time (3 hours later). The lack of reliability makes it useless and dangerous. I will be unsubscribing.

Well Made and Helpful App

If you enjoy group trips and want a simple way to plan and share trip details live with the group this is perfect. It’s user friendly and customizable to whatever kind of trip details you need to share!

I absolutely love the app! My only concern is that I decided to get pro version solely to find the optimal route (minimizing walking time) for a trip. However, after multiple times of trying to use the optimizing, it still gave me routes that I knew weren’t the shortest. After toggling for some time, I personally found the fastest route (which was very different from the one suggested by pro). I would love to purchase pro again if this were fixed! I love planning and Wanderlog is the perfect way to do so! I love that it gives travel times between destinations, making planning so much more efficient!

Best Trip App I’ve Found

I absolutely love this app. A huge plus over other apps I’ve tried is the ability to create lists. I find this especially useful for making a list of possible restaurant options for the trip. This is a detail that I typically research beforehand but don’t make a final decision until near the time of the meal. Sure, I can make a list of restaurants in other apps designed for that, but I like having everything all in one place. Plus if I’m traveling with a friend I can add them as a tripmate and they can see the options as well as itinerary and have a say in the planning. The only improvement I would like to see would be some kind of integration with AllTrails or another hiking trail location source. I’ve found adding the location of a trailhead a little tricky as it’s often given in GPS coordinates rather than a street address.
