Don’t download this app unless you plan on keeping it. Three days ago I agreed to the 3-day trial so that I could identify a plant that I didn’t realize in my backyard. Since then I’ve been trying to figure out how to cancel my subscription. This is the craziest thing ever; there is no option for cancellation in the app, and the subscription doesn’t show up in iOS settings or anything. I’ve emailed AIBY about my issue and they have yet to respond. So while the NatureID app is very informative and nicely designed, I can’t give it 5 stars.
I thought this app was free as it advertised as, but I should’ve known it was too good to be true! Wow, an app that can identify the type of plant in my backyard? It tells me if my plant is sick? How to help it survive?? Very cool! And for free??? Nope folks! This app is not free to use! You have to pay $30 a year to help your plant live and to identify a plant. Wow so corporate…!! Anyway, I think I’ll just stick to google lens. I was gonna say that this app might be more accurate than google lens, but how the heck would I know if I couldn’t even use this app?? Guys, you can’t even try the app out to see if it’s worth your money! It forces you into a subscription. As soon as you open the app, it only shows a pop up that tells you about the annual and weekly prices. Fix your app and make it free before you’re put under “free” apps.
Muy gustoso en comidas y ensaladas 😋
How do I cancel my account? Im not happy with this app there is no treatment plan given after I take a photo of my plant to identify a problem. Teddi
This app is not free. At $19.95 a year it may well be worth it. But it is NOT free.
NatureID claims to identify plants and treat them for illness. It’s first attempt on my persimmon tree identifies it as a oak - how far off can you be? I tried a second time and it identified avocado. Obviously it is not able to pass even a simple test. This fact combined with the advertisement of a free service and immediately demanding $6.99 per week makes it clear this is no bargain for any user. Really bad app, warning to avoid it completely.
I appreciate this app. I live out in the country around plants I am not familiar with, so this helps with identifying them. I am also able to take pictures of my garden and get feedback if my herbs and seedlings are healthy. Takes a lot of guess work out of it for sure.
But it’s good though
This help with so many problems because because I always wanna know what type of plant I have.
