First of all, I'm a pretty straight forward no BS all Analog/ Tube amp guy. I've been playing guitar for 37 years. I was looking for something that was user friendly, and sounded close to the real thing for practicing and recording. I downloaded the Elite Bundle because I didn't want to miss out on the great deal. I started uploading presets of some of my favorite artists and a few of them kept crashing, and a bunch of the other ones just sounded Horrible! I mean C'mon!!! As a Guitarist, I want to be inspired to play not sit there for an hour trying to figure out how to dial in the 200 effects and Amps. Frankly only a few FX and Amps sound decent, the rest are just fillers that I would never use. The customer service is absolutely Awful, I emailed them about their products, and they never answer all my questions. I have to keep sending emails and keep waiting several days before they answer back. If I had known that the Spark Amp that I've been patiently waiting for since December came with all the effects, I would have just waited before wasting $50 on this lousy app. This is very disappointing and I really wished that they would just wait till they put something worthy before releasing a bunch of Crap. Keep your hard earned money and look elsewhere.
Tansfer succesed. so I can use expansions without "Advenced pack & HD studio pack"i FX2. it is great. i can use 6-band EQ, Wah, Vol-pedal, etc in FX1. But Not this version. how can i use those effoectors that i used in FX1 ? i can't understand meaning of "transfer license".
I’ve been using FX on my iPad for years and for the last couple it’s been my go to when I’m playing at home. That said, IMHO FX2 is a big improvement. It sounds great and I really like the interface. The looper was also a nice add. This is enough of an improvement over FX that I don’t mind the $50 price tag. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, that’s about what I paid for the cheapest pedal on my board. My only complaint is, no MIDI. I like using my stomp box to switch things. This is an easy 5 once you get that patch out. Cheers
I came from JamUp Pro...Bias FX 2 is a nice upgrade. Loving the looper function and cloud tones.
I have been cheering for bias to really become something special but this update is very disappointing. The new GUI is nice but the core issues that have plagued bias for years are still here. Also how can you have a guitar app made to use in a live situation that has a NON-WORKING TUNER? Instead of trying to add new features, which I understand are a lot of fun to work on as a developer. Why have the core issues users have complained about for years not been addressed? The lack of diverse overdrive/distortion algorithms for pedals or the ability to have a 2 channel amp? I love bias but these issues need addressed before I spent any money. Stability is more important than a fancy GUI or new features to those of us who use amp sims in live rigs. I’m still a fan but in the worlds current situation I can’t justify spending money on something that is not ready for serious gigging.
My previous in app purchases don’t all transfer . Have to repurchase again by buying a new license....Positive Grid is losing me as a customer....
Bought the new mobile version after owning Bias Fx 1/2 pro desktop versions. The fact that I paid for the new mobile version and it doesn’t have midi as advertised (until late June?) is the reason for my low score. I’ll continue to use fx1 mobile with its shotty midi sync until I get what I paid for in a month or so.
I don’t have Bias Pedal in Bias FX 2. Tried to transfer DATA. It’s so far it’s a no go. Thanks, everything else is working fine. The update for the Octave pedal worked too. Well.... I saw one developer response saying to delete the app and Re down load. I just did that. I still don’t have the Bias Pedal in the FX category at the bottom of the page. Plus I think I just paid again for the Elite package. I hope not. Very confusing and disappointing.
Update...Bias FX2 contacted me and if I understood, they said I had to purchase something in Bias FX 2 to get my Bias FX bundles to transfer to Bias FX 2...BALONEY Disappointing is all I can say. I have all expansion bundle in Bias FX, but some items included in that bundle are locked after transferring purchases to Bias FX2 ( yes I followed instructions to transfer). I can’t say what all is lost with Bias FX2 bundle transfer but anything lost is unacceptable to me. Supposedly the bundles can be transferred but I guess the fine print is that the bundle content changes in Bias FX2.
I consider myself a reasonably intelligent individual, but the license transfer process and some other apparent decisions with FX 2 are baffling. AFTER Positive Grid updated FX 1 to “fix” an issue with the license transfer that other users were seeing, I downloaded FX 2 and ran the transfer process. It indicated a successful transfer, however I am missing items that I purchased in a package in FX 1 and are now locked in FX 2. The developer’s repeated response in the reviews doesn’t make sense. I paid for packages in FX 1, thus they should be transferred based on what FX 2 says. They weren’t. And then there is the fact that there are models in FX 1 that simply do not exist in FX 2 from what I’m seeing. So we’re asked to pay another $50 (the discounted rate) to get a new full license, but we’ll receive less than we had in FX 1 because some of the devices aren’t even in 2? Am I missing something? Please, Positive Grid. I like your products and own most of them. If you do respond to this, please don’t copy in the same comment that I’ve seen in numerous other reviews.
