I don’t know how this app has gotten so many positive reviews. You’re supposed to be able to take a picture of your plate and the app log your food but it is way off on what it tries to log. You could have chicken and it’ll say it’s a carrot. The database of foods that you can manually log is terribly small. There are hardly any modern keto friendly foods. And you cannot log user foods which is a common feature for apps of this sort. The educational info offered is restricted by the amount you are allowed to view per day, which is one paragraph. Noom is much better at this. Customer service gave me the run around when I tried to get a refund but eventually got it after going through 5 people. Hopefully the app reads this and uses it for improvements but I doubt it since they customer service people seemed shady.
Even before you start, be prepared to answer a zillion useless questions. Then the app pushes to purchase. Why would I buy subscription until I am convinced that the app is useful? Poor user experience.
This app is a glorified timer. You can literally look up fasting schedules on google and find the same results with an alarm on your phone. None of those personalized questions even matter because at the end of the day you choose your fasting times anyways therefore none of those questions help you get an actual personalized plan!!! if you paid anything above $1 then you’ve got scammed. There’s no way anyone giving this app 5 stars believes they couldn’t do it themselves. The features are so bare and lacking. All their guides are basic snapchat/IG clickbait. There’s no calorie tracker. Logging food is a hassle use my fitness pal instead. Do your fasting research free and make your own alarms this is not worth it!
Numerous people have billing issues. Overcharging, charged twice or more. Billing different rates.
I get that the point of tracking is food awareness, helping make the experience better and not all about the calories. I have learned a lot since starting IF about 5 weeks ago. I eat less and find being flexible is helpful to meet goals. But even with eating less and narrowing my eating window, I haven’t lost any weight. Not one pound. I would like to request a few things. I eat a lot of gluten free options and there aren’t many search options unless they are prepackaged foods. It’s hard to build an accurate picture of my intake when I can’t find the food I ate. Also, I love the nutrition tips to help me make up a certain macro (like fiber) for my future meals, but I can’t find how to access it once I confirm that I understood in case I want to review it later as I go. It would be great to have a easy to access reference point so I can plan my next meals to get enough of the recommendation.
As others have written, thus app is not that useful. But what really gets me is the refund process. I signed up for a 7-day free trial. In the process, there are several pages with upsell offers for longer subscription periods. I misclicked and ended up writing th a 12-week subscription, I immediately sent an email requesting a refund and was cited the refund policy. So I’m “using”the app for 15 days to qualify. There’s nothing about using this app that would change my mind, btw. I don’t need some boilerplate developer response that your customer service people are following the policy. How bout you CHANGE the policy?
All this app does is send you a thousand reminders to start fasting and to log your fast. Reminder to drink water. That’s it. You can do this for free on your own with your phone’s calendars and event reminders.
The help files do not correspond to the current version of the app, and therefore are not very helpful. I do not find this app intuitive, but rather difficult and frustrating to navigate. If I had to do again, I would try something else.
I love this app. It keeps me focused and aware of what and how much I eat. I also appreciate the weekly review of how I’m doing. Ten pounds lost and still dropping.
I really like the app I like the way they remind you about certain things like when to drink. What types of foods you can eat instead of other types of food how much fiber I’m getting with the food I record and how much protein it also gives you the calories the only problem is that it doesn’t give you the calories unless you record something I would like to see that change. It also doesn’t have every item even when you scan it for the calories and protein and fiber content I wasn’t even able to find cut green beans other than that I really like the app and hope that I can continue using it my weight loss has slowed and it might have something to do with an accurate calorie count but it shouldn’t have been that much still I have lost 8 pounds in 3 to 4 weeks. The fasting makes me feel so much more energetic even at a higher weight than I have been in the past
