Just changed over to this os and - as noted in other reviews - there does seem to be a real issue with my macbook heating up. And agree - this is an issue that should be dealt with asap. Thank you!
this OS has lot of problems at charging, sleep and little at sound. But it has a great premium look. I hope the problems will be fixed at the next macOS. another thing, I want Bengali language in the nexr OS
Iv lost almost every game on steam, everything runs slow now. I had updated this to mojav and it worked fine, every app open almost instant. After installing this the apps take 30secs to open, I cant paly Anything on steam. All my photo shop apps malfuction after about an hour or two. Im just going to reinstall mojav, since that worked Amazing.
I hate how this os makes my macbook heat up so quick. Not even 5 mintues and it's already heating up. Apple please fix this now or give us a botton to go back to our old OS. like its a good update, but there are to many down sides, like the heating up quickly and the battery. I can last a whole day with my mac being chardged now i gotta charge it every so often. Please Apple on behalf of the rest of the people that are not happy with this update fix the problems, or give us the option to go back to our old os.
THE BAD:Bluetooth conection problems with apple peripherals. OVERHEATING fan running at 100 more often than before... and some glitches and reboots I did not have before.... THE GOOD: love the sidecar ipad feature, finally!!! dark mode great, and.... that's it for me.
I decided to upgrade mainly for the facetime and I regret it! I never had issues with my laptop before this! My laptop overheats real fast and when it does anything I'm doing on it immediately freezes so I have to force shut down. It also makes a strange noise so that is a warning for me AND its drains my battery. my battery could last a full day now it wont last an hour! how do I uninstall this?!
Likes: Sidecar, Screen Time, iCloud improvements Improvents wanted: Ofisshal 32-bit app support (like Windows XP 64-bit Edition Professonal and newer 64-bit Windows releases) Dislikes:only runs 64-bit apps(similar to basic Windows XP 64-bit edition), no found way for 32-bit apps to run. iTunes is split up into many apps (will update review when someone finds a way for 32-bit apps to run on macOS Catilina)
Too many older apps were no longer functional; my use case is photography and many of my programs were bought and paid for years ago - I am not interested in buying them all again or converting to subscriptions.
soooooooo baaaaaaaaddd it distroys my macbook
It wouldn't recognize my improved RAM, then with the old RAM completely failed install twice, and only on the third with a complete clean out would it work. Catalina's been a hot mess since day one, next OSX release needs a huge bug fix to clean the whole thing up.
