on Facebook, it just gets in the way. I finally turned it off on Facebook and then it made a big red "Off" alert on the icon in the extension bar. So, I disabled it. At some point, they thought that being obnoxious and annoying was the way to entice people to continue to use an app that they paid for. Also, the app kept wanting to give me a tour, even though I used it for yeears. Just make yourself less noticeable. Be helpful, not underfoot.
There are several occassions where Grammarly extension is clearly running into run away memory issues in Safari and aborbing absurb amounts of memory; 3gb at times. To be fair, Safari is a bit of a memory hog and has several memory issues sense the major update prior to Monterrey. Functionally, this extention is awesome, but I find myself just turning it on for 1 off emails or documents that need some validation. But using Grammarly in Safari permentantly is not an option currently.
Grammarly is a great help to my writing world. Thank you.
Trying to find my bank routine and account numbers, then I found safari can't open a new window because of this extension. After I deleted it, everything went back to normal.
makes my safari break and slow down my mac, please optimize your extension, it's annoying
Multi-year subscriber, cancelling this year. Grammarly used to work wonderfully on Safari, but no more. Circular login issues, inability to log into the plugin make it completely unusable. Support effectively gave up on me and offered a refund. I'd rather have helped them figure out why it's broken since many reviews here share similar stories of dissatisfaction on Safari.
Spelling, punctuation, and support of clarity
Not only does Grammarly give me confident in the content I produce but it also is teaching me grammar rules that I have forgotten since primary school. Love this resource.
I used to love using Grammarly. It has helped me so much as an English major that has to write a million essays a week. But the last few months, Grammarly has been so hard to use. I do all of my work on Google Docs and literally everytime I write a long essay, Grammarly just stops working. I'm not sure if certain lenghts makes the app just short circuit, but it is infuriating when I need to use the app and it just won't work. What's the purpose of this app if it's going to stop working when the document gets "too long"? How can I fix this?
I love gramarly but it's so often frustrating. It is constantly saying I'm logged out and not acivating but when I click it again it logs me back in. This happens several times a week at this point and is frstrating. It also sometimes screws up where my cursor is in google docs putting it in front or behind where I'm typing. Please fix.
