As far as budgeting apps go, this one is one of the better ones... but it still misses the mark. Right now, it’s telling me that my safe to spend is -9 (meaning I’m going to overdraft.). When in reality, I have $1300 of spendable cash this week. Over the next two weeks (until the next payday) I have 800 of that scheduled out...so... that’s still $500 safe to spend. I have no idea how this app is coming up with these calculations. I really wanted a dedicated budgeting app but my virtual wallet account with Pnc bank continues to be the best budgeting software around
Would be even better if I could apply dates to recurring expenses and see how that effects each weeks spending, a lot of my major expenses are front loaded in the first week of the month.
It is not free. You can’t use the app without a subscription of 7$/mo, so if you’re looking for a free budget app, this isn’t the app for you. To me it’s a trickster move to say it’s free with in-app purchases only to put the whole app behind a paywall. Just charge a flat rate to download.
I love this app and the concept behind managing your money with a weekly mindset. I highly recommend this one to friends and family!
WILL NOT RECOMMEND! This isn’t free. Not worth it.
I’d have happily bought the product but the way they introduce you to the app is obviously an attempt to get you to invest time into it and then they ask you to pay with the idea being that since you already wasted time on it, might as well buy it. Not me, I won’t support the manipulative practices online businesses get away with. I went with Mint.
I’m so conflicted on this app. It is beautiful, simple, and honestly perfect for what I wanted - an easy way to track my weekly spending so I could reach my savings goals. But the price just seems REALLY high for such a simplistic app. I wouldn’t mind a few dollars a month, but $8/month is more than some TV subscriptions that are literally producing new shows/etc. For a budget app it’s a little hard to justify this really high cost for what it’s offering.
This app would not even open on my IPad.
I absolutely love this app but the new update crashes the app on startup. I can't even open the app anymore since I updated it.
I’ve been searching for a tool like this for months, but nothing panned out. I used to use Mint, but I hated having to categorize everything and how every cent had to be budgeted out. And somehow I was always going over budget. With this app, you track what’s static and recurring and the rest is your weekly budget in one lump sum. I find it some much easier to see how much I have left to spend as a whole, rather than what I’ve spent broken up In 10–15 sub-categories. I also love that it syncs with my bank and notifies me when new transactions come through. Its a great app with amazing customer support as well!
