Trying to remote view even on home wifi is junk. Original version worked decent at least. Seems like every update the remote viewing gets worse and worse.
Might be a good system but support has had me on hold for ever and the time keeps getting longer.
So far I’m not impressed, have my system connected directly into my modem and still won’t stay online… my $3.99 a month Wyze cameras that work off wi-fi are more reliable…..
These are the best I’ve found on the market for the price we paid why wife & i have looked at a whole bunch of security cameras and what we’ve found out there in the market for the price was as good as it get the only set back was we didn’t get any way to be able to communicate with anyone back & forth so this is the only set back on these cameras that I found and i really don’t like that we’re in the process of seeing if there’s a way to have a speaker to be able to add on these systems because there’s a Jack on the main system too hook up a 2 way speaker but we haven’t found out how or where to get this speaker system In order to hook up a 2 way voice control communication system so we are still looking into this as I’m writing this review for SWANN hopefully they’ll see this comment and help us out if not we will not be buying this product like this ever again
My iPhone 13 Pro Max is currently on IOS 17.0.1 and have been having major battery heating issues due to this app, the app needs to be updated to be optimized for IOS 17.0.1 . Also please bring back timeline view like the company Ring has on their app, looking for a recording to playback is stressful dealing with so many steps instead of having a timeline to scroll through recordings. Since iOS 17 update push notifications seldom work. Please update! App does not give detection mode options therefore when changing modes (ex from home to away) it overrides dvr mode options that have been previously set. I have 2 cameras set to only “Detection” and 2 set to “PIR and Motion”. When I change mode via the app my detection modes on the dvr change to “PIR and Motion” for all channels. Seems like this should be an easy fix. Also unable to play anything but live view - even via WiFi connection!

Hello, I booted cameras, signed out of application, only think I didn’t do was delete application and reload it need help
There are many glitches that always happen at the wrong time. I know it is incredibly difficult to write software or edit coding, but it seems like every other month there is something new that glitching. While I am watching the screen of footage it just goes black. You name it. I update my phone nightly and sometimes your update fixes thing and sometimes it doesn’t. I appreciate everything that gets done to fix the glitches, but I would love to be one of the people who can help communicate what glitches are happening.
I’m also not receiving notifications any longer since the last update. I have 8 cameras on my property and if I’m not going to get notifications, it makes this whole system useless to me. This needs to be fixed ASAP or I will return all of my cameras to the store I purchased them at and get a different system. The only thing that has changed is the update.
