I tried this app on common grasses and flowers (day lilies, sedge, daffodils, etc ) and it didn’t get a single one correct. Don’t waste your time or money.
I read instructions several times and it did not even correctly ID poison ivy.
I tested on lilac and goji 2 of what I know and I’m in zone 5 it got something from Guatemala for one and another WAY off(!) I CANT trust this so I don’t know if that’s deadly nightshade or something less sinister coming up in my planter
I like the app that it helps me to try to identify plants in my yard...One thing that would be helpful with the app is if it would include information on whether or not a particular plant is toxic to dogs, cats & humans...I find I have to go elsewhere for this information & it would be really great if you could include that information on here. Thanks bunches
I just signed up. I went around and took pictures in my yard of plants I wanted to identify. I found out that the app does not save those pictures so I went to premium and purchased a year-long subscription. I then went around my yard a second time and took pictures.Again it did not save those pictures for me to identify. Searching for why I found out that the app does not recognize that I purchased a year-long subscription and did not save them. I did my best to figure out a way to verify my purchase and then went around my yard the third time to take pictures. It then stopped me because it it said I had taken all my free snaps. While I had purchased the premium option the app doesn’t recognize it. I am not impressed.
I wanted to love this app since so many botanical gardens support it, but it’s not worth paying for. I paid for the subscription so I could get help identifying a plant. It’s been 2 weeks and I still don’t have an identification. Even after emailing support, I’ve yet to hear back from them or get an identification. I’ve been using Seek for a couple years and I’m going to stick with it and it’s free! I’m tired of all these plant apps that claim they can identify plants 🙄 I want a refund.
Pretty awesome app when you’re curious about the flowers on the trail! It’s been right every time :D
App did not identify any of the plants I didn’t know. When I tested it with plants I do know, app only got one correct.
This app makes you pay after only a few pictures. It also cannot differentiate trees from each other and cannot even identify grass. It says that 2 different trees were the same. Neither was the correct breed.
