It’s fine for a first try, but it could be so much better and that’s largely because it’s just unnecessary given Intuit’s other offerings. The syncing doesn’t work as well as Quicken or Mint. There’s no budgeting function. It’s a little clunky compared to Quicken and Mint. Instead of offering 3 apps that do the same thing a little differently, with each being good at only a couple things, why not just offer 1 app that combines the best of all 3? Everything in this app could just be a tab in Mint and no one would miss this. They need to just consolidate into Mint and maybe offer an in-app purchase for certain premium features.
I am finally able to track all my bills and expenses. Such a great app. Works better than all other apps in the market. Great job by Quicken. -A
I’ve been using Mint for a long long time now to manage my finances but the ads bug me a lot. I looked into a LOT of other money management solutions online but none of them were able to show Pending transactions. That’s when I found this app. I am really liking the interface so far.
this app has potential. it looks nice, but there are so many bugs. there’s also literally no way to customize it, no way to filter your transactions (for example, the recurring transactions are listed in alphabetical order instead of the date the transactions will become due, and there’s no way to change that). so inefficient. one of the bugs that gets me is when you enter a transaction date and hit save, the day before or sometimes the day after that date will be saved, not the date you chose. so annoying. for the bugs, the lack of customization features, and the inherent inefficiencies, I have deleted the app. maybe some other time. there are entirely too many apps out there that get it right. this one seems super half-baked. certainly not worth a fee of any amount.
A free trial should not require you to set up payment before you get to try it. So many budget apps are terrible but I will not know any more about this one.
I am really attracted to the interface and general UX in this app but I feel it is missing a few crucial features for me. I couldn’t figure out how to set a clear budget different categories (I’m hoping there is a stronger feature than using the spending watchlist). I am a big fan of the envelope budgeting method which essentially creates a hypothetical account for each category—having that as a feature would make this app a much more attractive option!
Long time Mint user but with its freemium model it struggles between offering utility vs pushing offers for stuff i don’t need. This app has the utility without the fluff - just wish i could import my data. It’s also struggling to connect my Betterment account but that may be related to current market volatility. Also wish there was an ipad version of the app, but I’m sure that will come eventually.
Best app out for managing your money with no “recommendations” and ads. The fee is small and the features are strong. Will continue to use this!
Tried product for a week using the one month free trail. Was unable to connect BOA and TransAmerica. Support said they’d look into it and message me back. Weeks went buy and I never heard back. My trial is over now and the only way to see if they have resolved my issue is to pay for a month of service. Odd business model. Now that I’ve used my 1 month free trial, though I never really used it as I just waited the whole time. You can never try the product again, only pay to try it. I didn’t have a solid experience with the app nor the service overall. I think this could have potential, but, I’ll never pay to try an app. The trial should be 6m or longer. The product didn’t feel release quality. Before you ask someone to pay, let them use it, learn to appreciate it and see progress. Right now, one could invest in your new product only to experience upgrade stagnation (Quicken).
I really want this app to work for me. I love how it displays my accounts. My issues are that one of my accounts has to be verified everyday and my main checking account keeps saying cannot connect at this time. If I can't add it, I will have to use my other app. I hope this can be fixed because my rating would be 5 stars!
