Only thing I would suggest is when selecting the next sequence to play for the current sequence to play all the way through before it goes to the next selected sequence like on the sp 404sx sequencer it always stay in sequence. This would really useful when recording a song. THA The latest update made the sequencer unstable. Doesn’t always record the first note. Latest update crashes this app…..latest update keeps crashing
The whole iOS platform should, must, eternally be grateful and indebted to the beautiful soul who’s developed this unparalleled sample app. Respect, respect, respect on behalf of all the creative iOS artists. With love, conveying my deepest and sincerest gratitude for developing this gem of an app. Beyond infinity! Live and prosper! Hail to the king! P.s. btw the stars aren’t suitable enough to rate this app. It’s unmeasurable! Thank you!
The creators should make a pc version
So you made it possible to edit multiple pads at once… except it’s very clumsy and doesn’t work well. So if I select 12 pads and pitch them down, now they are deselected. If I don’t like the sound, I have to re-select all the pads again, and blindly change the pitch, because I can’t audition the sounds while I’m holding the edit buttons without deselecting everything. So how does this actually help? You should get an actual beat maker to QC your app before you release an update that makes no sense.
I’ve been on the iOS kick for years and it’s my fav go to . People with negative reviews Clearly never bothered even checking settings or reading reviews. Or just want an MPC or SP404 in a free app. It’s Intuitive and easy to use. They have programs for children even. So many features and more coming. Great community and tutorials out there. Def worth the purchase upgrades and easy to use anywhere!
Honestly this app is such a steal at five bucks that I'm tempted to donate money directly to the author to pay for what it's actually worth. The best music software you can get on mobile. Period.
One enhancement would be amazing however. A new section “DJ” where it is made easier to loop audio live on a grid, mute and unmute it without having to stop the loop. There are more enhancement ideas if you would like to speak to me. I purchased every add on possible, even the ones I don’t need to use.
Brilliant app. Easy to pick up immediately- my 7 year old gets it. But has so many features and possibilities. Can’t wait to see what’s in store with further updates. Would love to see: Waveforms on grid editor Effects on individual samples Note repeat feature is a little buggy. What I hear when holding down note repeat on some samples vs what I hear when playing back the recorded sequence is different. I love the polyrhythms you can get when holding down two note repeats at once, but the recording doesn’t sound the same. Playback through CarPlay is really muffled sounding. Not sure if this is something that can be resolved in app or is just an issue w CarPlay Minor issues for an overall exceptional musical tool
This sampler is a lot of fun to use. I’ve heard really well done, professional quality music made with it. But it’s also easy enough to use to be able to just have fun with it.
Developer, If I Had to pick some things to change I would 1-allow change of color to the pads. I’m not a fan of the rust red. The background change is nice but the pads really need an update. Maybe a theme setting where we can customize the pad style like 3d appearance and color Just not the red and blue 2- not let pads move unless a deliberate Long touch they move and slide too easily. It’s just annoying when playing on phone and tapping out a groove and the pads move and slide accidentally. Easy fix. Can’t believe no one else is mentioning this. 3-allow recording of automation, effects, and motion the fx are great it would be amazing if we could record our fx performance Really though such an amazing app. Everyone should have this app
