I’ve been in touch with the DE team regarding this and have had some replies with suggestions to make the yoga videos work again, but replies have been slow and nothing has worked so far. It worked fine before I signed up for the yearly subscription and now they just have a loading spinning circle on all the videos and will not play. I’ve tried being in Wi-Fi and not, tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail. Very disappointing as the yoga was one of the main reasons I subscribed to the app in the first place
Love the brand, people behind it and app!! Some improvement opportunities: 1. Horizontal mode (for iPad use) 2. Podcast side (adding a skip/ rewind 20second button). This will improve the podcast listening experience.
So much love and respect for Ella and the team for creating this goldmine of an app - it’s a joy to use and I wouldn’t ever be without it! Seriously so affordable, and so packed with delicious and nutritious recipes...I’ve never encountered one I don’t love! (I’m even able to blow away my non-vegan boyfriend with the amazing taste and flavors of these meals. Yeah plant power!! 🥑) Only thing I would love to see that would help with navigating the app a bit more effortlessly would be to have a way to access your ‘favorited’ yoga sessions, as there are some I like to return to frequently but there isn't a way to search for them or get to them other than scrolling down through the long list. It might also be nice to be able to search yoga by additional tags like ‘morning’ or ‘bedtime’ etc in addition to the ones already in the filter. Just some thoughts! ❤️ Also, I’m super excited too that meditations are getting added now in 2020!! There is so much value in this membership, it’s the full package for wellness and it just keeps growing. Thanks again Deliciously Ella team for this beautiful, powerful, purposeful app. You’re helping this girl live her best life every day!!! 💗🌱🧘🏻♀️☀️
Good recipes but navigating to favorites is a pain as is the overdetermined way the app drives you to create a week of recipes and assign them to particular days. Also the inability to print recipes is a problem and makes the recipes less useful.
I'd be happy to pay a flat fee for the app, but subscribing doesn't make sense.
I’m not sure I’ve ever bothered to write a review for an app yet, but I absolutely adore Deliciously Ella. I’ve told so many friends about it. Ella and Matthew host WONDERFUL podcasts that I find myself sharing regularly, which really give insight into self-care and yummy food. Can’t recommend it highly enough. The app is a joy to use, I even began using it as my main shopping list — mostly because it’s not just very functional, but pretty, and helps make eating healthy food exciting and fresh. Thanks, guys! x
I paid years ago for access to this app and have used it off and on for access to Ella’s amazing recipes. I am very disappointed to see that now this app is a weekly subscription and my prior purchase is invalid.
Even if this was free I’m not sure I would use it. Recipes are average at best and there are not a lot. The blogs are a serious waste of time... How can you give health advice with no professional qualifications???
Have to read the whole description, then you see there is nothing Free about this app. 1 week trial? No thanks. Google has plant based recipes for free.
This app might be good, but I can’t tell because you can’t use it without an account, and it doesn’t let you create an account. I guess you have to do that on a website somewhere. Which means I’ll have to do a search for the website because the app doesn’t tell you where that might be either. Strange.
