That’s all I can think of
I recently purchased an iPad for note taking. I wanted to use less paper and carry less books so I thought hey let me try an iPad. I loved my iPad to begin with but once I used GoodNotes for my college courses I was amazed. I know it’s the newer version and I’m glad I got the new and improved goodnotes app. Very easy to use and lots of features to make note taking enjoyable. Diff the best 8 bucks I spent for notes.
I wasn’t going to get at first because of the price but now I can’t imagine not having it! I love it so much! I use it for writhing and highlighting D&D PDF files and its such a life saver, my favorite reacher is that I can wear for a key words on PDF files!!!
Not only is this app great at taking notes and keeping everything organized, it’s also great for creating a digital planner or just taking quick notes. It’s customizable with you being able to choose the notebook cover and what the pages side look like. If you’re looking to go digital, I recommend using GoodNotes! I have no regret buying this app!
Great app! One week in, and it has been my most used tool.
This app writes well, and provides many options for style, thickness, and color. However, if you want to do anything with text, troubles arise, such as text boxes, formatting, lists, and writing—>text usage. GoodNotes allows you to create a text area by tapping in a chosen spot with the text tool, but you are not able to allocate a custom text box beforehand, only after you start typing can you adjust the width of your text box. In addition to a text box, I wish you were able to link multiple text boxes for text flow from the end of one to the beginning of another. As for lists, there are no options to make one, nor is there automatic list formatting, like the local apple notes app. This makes it really frustrating to use while taking notes when the instructor talks quickly and covers many topics. It is neat that there is an option to convert writing to text, but when I tried to use it, I was only given the option to share and export the text to somewhere outside of the app. I was under the impression that you could just convert it to text inside your note, which would be useful to save on space within the document. Another thing i was disappointed with was that there are no options for annotation bubbles with arrows like other notes apps i have tried out. This app is alright, but it could use a few updates to become better and more user-convenient.
I hope the question will be solved. However, the pen is my favorite.
I have used this app for years with no problem but with the most recent update I can’t even use it. It’ll open a document but when I write it doesn’t recognize that I’m doing anything and, sometimes, will unexpectedly crash. Please fix the most recent update as it has made the app utterly useless for me. Edit- still happens!!!! When I load a paper, only some of the pages will load, which will cause the entire document to crash. Please fix!!!!
an app that is reportedly developed to help should be much easier! Adding pages to an existent note should be much simpler, not needing any width adjustments, etc. This app should offer features to help people take notes, not needing creative genius artwork!
I think this is one of the best note-taking apps out there and actually surpasses notability in most of the segments. But I am having some issues with the touch Sensitivity, like the app does not respond all the time when I scroll down or up. It feels like the app hangs sometimes. Hope things will be better in the next update. Overall, GoodNotes 5 is amazing. I’m using an iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2nd Gen, not sure if anyone else using the same device has faced this issue.
