I seriously love this app! It’s really helped me get into fitness so much easier vs. anything else I’ve tried. I use the app almost everyday (weekends I rest). The only thing I wish it had would be workouts for the hip abductors. The only thing I can find is stretches for the hips, which is extremely important, but I would also love to be able to strengthen and build muscle in the hip abductors/glute medius.
I cannot say enough about how much I love this app. I discontinued my gym membership during Covid because I was not going to wear a mask while I worked out. I tried running but my body was rebelling. I am so happy I found this fitness app. The workouts always have options for higher or lower intensity. The trainers are knowledgeable. There is something for everyone from Pilates to HIIT to Barre to more traditional sessions. They also have lots of good nutritional information including meal plans with recipes. If you’re looking to improve your health from the comfort of your own home, this is the app for you!
There is a variety of workouts but the app is cumbersome to use. Now they have the timer showing on lower 1/3 of video which makes it impossible to see what the trainer is doing. Put it on the side where there is dead space. The screen is cluttered with various views - it should be streamlined. And if you’re a beginner, none of these videos will teach you how or when to breathe which is very important to know to engage your core. I upgraded to paid just to get a less cluttered screen and be able to find my favorites, but will not renew.
I love most of the workouts. I get a good variety of workouts and don’t get bored with them. The opening screen has a motivational quote that disappears so fast I rarely get to read it. I wish the quote would stay so I need to close it just like the screen to upgrade to the paid version do.
I love a lot of things about FitOn. I love how accessible the workouts are. You can pick a plan to support your goals and schedule the workouts for the week accordingly. The trainers are amazing: they are so positive and they take such a reasonable approach to health, wellness, and fitness. They come from such a wholistic approach. Not only are you working your body with these trainers, but also your mind. They meet you where you are and still encourage you to do your best. I’ve been using FitOn consistently since May 2022, and I’ve definitely seen and felt results, mentally and physically. For me, it’s not about the number on the scale, but seeing and feeling the changes in my body and my mind. FitOn Pro definitely has a lot of advantages over the non-pro version, but it’s such a great deal that I find it beyond worth it!! One small critique that I have (but doesn’t overshadow the positives of this app) is that some of the meals have unclear instructions or amounts for their ingredients. If this was improved, then I would definitely use that function more.
Do This App Helps people with PCOS?
I used to love this app, but what is the need for this long musical introduction that they added now? It interrupts my music while I’m working out and then I have to wait to bypass it. So annoying. Please get rid of it!
I first signed up on my Android phone using Facebook login. Then I download the app to my iPad and click login and try to login and it gives an error that I’m supposed to login with Facebook but there’s no options to login with Facebook. Cannot use. I’m so upset because I had a gym session planned and needed to use on my iPad and cannot login for the life of me and wasted so much time trying.
Thank you for making an exercise program that is not only fun but shows results. I love the selection of classes too. I do wish there were a few more low impact classes as I am older. I just love this app and am so happy ,giving the economy, that it is free . Thank you!
