You can’t skip or replace an exercise to tailor to your needs. You have to do it. I don’t have a flat bench so I couldn’t do those “at home exercise’s.” Also I’m trying to recover from a knee injury and a lot of the exercises required jumping.
This app is great, with a great workout flow. Not just your typical routine— do this exercise for 3 sets, then this boring exercise for 3 sets, etc. I really liked the flow and it is tough!! However, one main thing lacking with this app is the inability to switch out equipment. If I don’t have a treadmill, or cable machine or whatever I should be able to replace those exercises with something else. Bummer that I can’t because if I could this app would be so awesome.
I’m 14 soon to be 15 looking to gain some muscle because I am freakishly skinny with fast metabolism and it’s hard for me to workout since I have autism and adhd but I found this app and for some reason me and the app sparked I work out three times a week with this and I have gained lots of muscle you can decide your difficulty of the workouts your trainer how much time and wich workouts are best for you with a m survey I personally love the app!!
The app is perfect for workouts at the gym or at home. It also has videos of each workout, and rest timers. This is incredibly useful, and it is far better then any other workout app or program. If you don’t know what to do for a workout, or need some motivation, this is the best app. Also, there are playlists that they have created which has given me the energy and hype to do my workout.
I’m going to have a month working out with this app and it have been great, I feel I’m getting stronger, a pair of dumbbells helps a lot, although I thinks is a little expensive if you have the money is a good investment, I wish you add more exercises with dumbbells an kettlebell at the same time.
Simply the best workout app out there. I love the timer and instructional videos that come with each exercises. I have a lower back issue, so if there is an exercise I don’t like they have two alternates to take it’s place. These work out are no joke. Will make you sweat, get gains and cut fat. Another plus, their customer service is on point. Emailed them twice and got a response within an hour.
I don’t find the UX very friendly.
I don’t usually write reviews but this app is everything you could want. Personal trainer in your pocket. Fully customizable workouts tailored to your personal preferences and goals. Complete with varying degrees of motivation from words of encouragement to unlocking features for working out. Shred cares first and foremost about you and your fitness journey. Well done THANK YOU for not bombarding the app with adds and constant subscription. This app is phenomenal on the free platform but I personally plan to pay because the people at shred have earned it.
