This is new to me. Have added 4 recipes and love it. Discovered I can dictate the hand written recipes by using the mike. So much quicker than typing it. Highly recommended.
This app is very good I use it daily
I have been having issues using the app since I purchased the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The app will frequently freeze up while trying to save a new recipe. It’s doesn’t work well with Chrome, but it works about 50% of the time using Safari. (I mean when I try to upload a recipe from a website). I am forced to restart my iPhone about 25% of the time as it’s freezing when trying to save. Then I have to restart & try again. I have about 32 GB available memory on the device and I’m running iOS 14.0.1 and it’s becoming harder and harder to use the app as I go along. What could be the issue?? I love the app, just now how it’s behaving lately!
This is pretty cool, I don’t have to write down anything and I can save all my great grandmothers recipes she has written down and saved through out her 95 years. Awesome!
Really liked this app to start with, very customizable with a great look to it. After the upgrade, lost all my recipes that I worked on and have been editing while perfecting the taste of my food. The new look and added features just made this app look way too busy with the meal planning and grocery list add on, after purchase. No thank you. I’d rather not since now I have to start from scratch. Update: So the problem was the update. All I had to do was swipe down. Then my all my recipes returned. Hopefully with new updates this won’t happen.
Best recipe app
For some reason, when the update came around all the issues it says it would fix started happening on my device when they weren’t happening before. Crashes a lot, meal plan fails to save most of the time, and adding new recipes can crash the app. I haven’t had any issues with the app saving recipes which is great and once I can get the meal plan to finally save, it stays there. I have to exit and restart the app a lot before that happens though. The import URL only copies the URL if the phone was just restarted, otherwise you can generally paste it without crashing. Some websites don’t turn into recipe format and just bring up the web page which is unfortunate since most blog recipes are just ten paragraphs of annoying mom crap and then a badly written recipe, so I guess that isn’t their fault. The categories section and searching for recipes works just fine. Would just love the app more if all the bugs stopped.
I used to love this app for storing my personal recipes. It had a nice look and helped my easily organize plus share my recipes with friends and family. Now it no longer allows me to add my personal recipes. I start to enter the recipe and the error message I get says - “ we already have lots of recipes like this. Now you know why we made this app.” A very rude, snarky message. Too bad they ruined a good app.
This is the best! I love how it imports the recipes and you can customize and organize everything. So simple yet efficient! Absolutely love it.
