"This is my first year using DeerCast and it’s a game changer! Normally my seasons are hit or miss, but this year, using DeerCast, I knocked down a great Michigan bruiser. I highly recommend DeerCast be added to every hunting arsenal. It flat out works!" - Mike Francues More than just another hunting app, DeerCast is a powerful platform of advanced tools with one objective: to make you a better hunter. DeerCast was built to get you ahead of your game. 20 yards away standing broadside, the buck of your dreams stands relaxed with his head down feeding. Fading sunlight glows golden on his thick tines as your pulse races and you prepare for the shot. You finally caught up to your target buck. The moment is magic. The timing is DeerCast. Here’s what’s under the hood: DeerCast Forecast Powered by over 70 years of in-field, real-world experience from expert whitetail hunters Mark and Terry Drury of Drury Outdoors, DeerCast decodes deer movement. Using your local weather data and a 13-factor, proprietary algorithm that includes barometric pressure, the DeerCast Forecast shows you, out to ten days, down to the hour, the likelihood of deer movement in whatever area you select. Each customized forecast generates a unique set of videos explaining what factors are at play in your scenario, helping you get inside the brain of a whitetail deer. DeerCast Track Every hunter knows it’s not over until you’ve laid hands on your buck, which is why DeerCast is equipped with Track. See inside your shot with a revolutionary 2D anatomical deer model that allows you to toggle the exterior of the deer on or off, showing the skeleton and organ systems. Select your point of impact on the 2D deer and DeerCast Track searches an extensive database of hit videos, delivering only those that most closely match your shot. Each video includes interviews from seasoned tracking pros with over 5,000 tracking jobs under their collective belts. They’ll give their opinions on what you likely hit, if the shot was lethal, how long to wait before tracking, what to look for on the bloodtrail, and more. Recover your deer with DeerCast Track. A must if you hunt!!

The amount of content jammed into this app is insane and I have learned so much about deer and Turkey it’s mind blowing. 100% worth the money.

Daily User

I have this app open every single day of the deer season, multiple times. Better than any weather app AND the content provided on this platform is a ridiculous bonus. Then add in the Deercast Track function, and it seems like a no-brainer to me.

I don’t hunt without this app!

I recommend the elite version of this app! It’s the best hunting app out there! With the elite version, not only do you get the 10 day DeerCast forecast that lets you know whether the hunting will be great, bad, or anywhere in between; but you also get a big library of old DoD full DVD’s.

Lots of great info

DeerCast has a lot of great editorial articles that offer a ton of information for scouting, hunting and post season. The DeerCast Track is a great tool for looking at different shot angles and to give you an view of the internal organs. Great tool for both in the field and pre/post season.

This is why guys, DeerCast makes no sense

On days it says poor or bad I see deer. On days it says great I see no deer. I hunt a lot and finally realized that deer have to eat and socialize regardless of the moon phase, pressure, rain, no rain, cold or hot. Deer don’t wake up, stretch their legs and say “I think I’ll fast today. I’ve had plenty of acorns I think I’ll just hunker down for the next 24 hours. See y’all tomorrow” Nah... don’t pay for it. Just hunt and you’ll learn what is a good day or not based on your land and experience.

Do not pay for this app..

I’ve used this app both last year and this year and trust me, it definitely is not accurate. Some days it stated it was good / great for hunting and I saw little to no activity. I own 200 acres with plenty of Doe, & Bucks, with little pressure from surrounding land. This year, very much the same. An example would be 12/29.. here in Alabama it rained all day and was 75 degrees. Deer cast said it was poor morning and evening. Rain stopped around 3, I saw more Buck/Doe interaction than I have in 2 years. I have a 9point on cam at 10:09 am, in the rain. Today, deer cast said good for the morning and evening and literally nothing moved. One button buck 5 min before Legal shooting time was up. Understanding, it is hit and miss, simply because we are dealing with Mother Nature and wildlife. At the end of the day, put little stock in moon phases, pressure and all of the things these “professional hunters” say... put the hours in, realize deer are always moving and have to eat. Keep pressure low and stay in the woods or food plots. You will see them. Save the money/time and do not go off of what this app says.

Great information

Used the DeerCast for times of better deer movement and weather information especially before and after fronts. Made it easier to plan hunts an kept me motivated to be in the woods. I was able to take a 144” 8 pt this season. Also really like fan share. Nice to see other hunters being successful. I think this promotes mutual respect amongst all hunters and our sport. 👍👍

Deer cast app

It would be a amazing app for a lot of people if it were just a little bit more affordable. The average hunter spends anywhere from 2,000 to 3,500 dollars every year for hunting. And this is just one more cost that would be very helpful in controlling our deer population. But in my “opinion” I think getting our youth in the woods is going to be hard with all the high cost of hunting!
