Apple will remove my honest review but here it goes anyway

First and foremost, let me say caveat emptor for anybody thinking of playing this game. This is a pay to win game and this means spending $1000s. I have played this game for over a year. Since then, the developers have created special heroes that are stronger than normal heroes. Based on my calculations, it would cost around $1300-1400 to max one of these heroes. Players without these will not win a battle, even players who have played for a lot longer. Chinese states are given preferential treatment. While the rest of the world spends a ton of money, Chinese states are given cheaper packs, easier ways to max heroes, etc. This makes them super strong in the game. The best I can describe this is it’s like playing with a hacker that’s supported by the game. The game isn’t balanced. The game has three types of troops: infantry, cavalry, and archers. How it’s supposed to work is in a triangle type of pattern. Archers will have better success against cavalry, cavalry will be good against infantry, and infantry will be good against archers. However, the developers have broken this and made cavalry better in every way. Just use it if you decide to play this game. I honestly don’t understand why I played for this long, but I regret ever starting this as you can see, the game has failed in every way possible. I hope I saved somebody time and money by posting this, if apple actually allows it to be posted. Cheers

Fun to play, but watch out for recurring fees

Fun to make a city that grows, but don’t buy anything you get recurring charges to whatever card you use and the game cuts you off if you cancel the card you use.

After 10 days

In ten days I’ve managed to upgrade my castle to level 13, though much of the game is still not accessible. There are benchmarks laid out, and early on it’s something to look forward to. As you progress and hit these however you then learn that any advantage is buried away in further levels or in game purchases. It’s a grind and not very rewarding.

Beware

The company who makes this game is in China and has no support despite claiming otherwise. If you are unable to access your settings in game to get to the “help” menu you’re out of luck. So here is my story. I have spent around 140 to get my crap to the same level as my friends. Yes it’s a lot but I figured I have spent well beyond that in PC Mmorpgs. Fast forward to the Thursday before last. On my very first battleground I ended up getting stuck on the map and unable to leave. They make a duplicate of your castle for the event and 90% of your menus are turned off so there is no cheating. This includes the help option I was unable and still am unable to play the game I paid for. I tried all means to get any type of support to get me back into the actual play map. I even tried Discord and the “Privacy Policy” help email as a Hail Mary. Both of those returned as mailbox full. So yesterday I put in for a refund on the stuff I bought. If I can’t play the game they can’t keep my money. Today the refunds went through and I got an alert on my phone that there was a message in the game. Hoped in and what do you know my castle was back where it was supposed to be. They fixed it when they got the refund approval. Now the threat. My coin balance is now 3 million in the hole. These people literally want you to pay money for a log. That’s not going to happen so I requested the rest of it be refunded. I am getting a ban for “Malicious Refund”. I expect a dev will come on here and cry foul but if you research this is a very common tactic for them. No support but if you request a refund either by Apple or their Customer Support you will get banned.

Account suspended

I’ve installed the game yesterday, spent the whole night to get to castle 8. I was just playing this morning then went to check on my other games and when I came back I have a screen telling me my account is suspended. I need to understand why? Anyone have an answer?

Great game but unfair priveledges to chinese

So the game is amazing it’s fun and keeps you busy. Socially interactive. But how come everything in English gets censored for words that may be deemed inappropriate but in chinese it does not get censored? I have screenshots of a player saying beating me is like killing a dog and he openly admits that Chinese states have access to map hacks and other cheats to see what we are doing where we are going and everything. I have reported the player and he doesn’t get banned. And they get packs in game at a much cheaper rate then everyone else so how come they can crossplay with us when they always have the advantage. If I spend the same ammount of money in game as they do they get more packs and rewards I do but yet they say it’s even battlefield? It seems rather unlogical to allow them to crossplay if the developers won’t even the gameplay and battle in game because I have to spend $2000 to match the $1000 they spend. It’s designed to always let them be on top in a game like this where paying to win is a method. Please reach out and address these topics as the state we face right now has openly admit to using cheats and map hacks to follow us instantly everywhere we go. They have tiling bot scripts for roc. None of this makes sense to me how this goes so unnoticed when it’s happening in state 3058 openly and they bring real life political events into the game and racial terms but no bans when reported? Seems very sad to see the favoritism in the game

unfair game do not download unless your chinese

the game pairs your states with chinese states that are on complete differnt servers and have cheaper more effective in game purchase packs. plus they give the chinese states discounts normal states dont get. since they started putting the 3000 servers into the game its unfair and almost impossible to win any event with the chinese states.
