Tried this app to get a loan because the rates were great. Entered in all of my information and signed up for the $1 a month option, only to be told I can’t get a loan to ensure current borrowers get theirs. I’m sorry what?! So I get declined for being a new customer because you don’t have the money. Maybe not the right business to be in.
Customer service is bad I have emailed you guys 10 times regarding my issues with requesting a loan. It wouldn’t let me put my address manually because the city would not match what was on my ID. I have emailed you guys regarding this issue about 5 times and was advised someone would fix it and that was about 5 days ago and it still has not been fixed. I would still use it if someone would fix the issue ASAP so I may request the loan!
I had this for a while got a few loans everything was great payments came out. All of a sudden I’m being charged to use their service. Figure fine OK no big deal I’ll pay the $10 for a year subscription I use the app. Well for some reason every time I try to get a loan it goes right back to make me pay another $10. I reached out to customer service got a generic response after four days responded to them they asked for more information, I gave it to them and didn’t hear from them for about a week. Same generic response. I followed up and requested a refund of my $10 because I wasn’t able to use the app got crickets, no response. Finally went back into the app and put in another ticket just to get another generic response! If you’re going to make people pay to use your app and charge the lender and try and extort more money out of borrowers that in my book has become a scam! Never once did they mention a refund of my $10 just told me to be patient their IT department is working on some issue or another! Requested refund from Apple we’ll see what happens.
My only concern is your banking options are limited. I bank with state employees of NC, and I’m extremely surprised you don’t offer services for this particular bank but you do for certain others. Really wanted to utilize the application but unfortunately I can’t but hope to in the future. Thank you.
If you have a problem don’t bother trying to get in touch with anyone. I have been trying to get my issue resolved for over a week now and all I have gotten was a message that said to send a screenshot of my issue so I did. I still haven’t heard anything back. When I try to request a loan it asks me to subscribe when I’m already subscribed! So I click on the 99 cents per week and my phone freezes or it takes 30+ minutes then the apps closes itself. I checked with Apple and my phone provider and they are saying that the app is the issue not my phone or provider.
The basis of the app is great; the idea of peer to peer lending made convenient and simple. However, the app itself and corresponding “customer service” is lacking in more ways than one. Questions asked take days, if not weeks to be responded to and when they finally are, it’s as basic as any response you’d find in the FAQ section. Their verification process is a one shot deal apparently. If you ever close the account you have listed with your profile, there is absolutely no way of updating the information on the apps side rendering your profile completely useless. Don’t waste $1 a month; there are other peer2peer lending outlets elsewhere which will cause less of a headache.
Seems like the bad reviews don’t understand how this actually works. This is a platform for other people to fund loans. There is no guarantee anyone will fund your loan. It took me a couple months to get my first loan, but that’s the nature of this. You are borrowing from other people, not a bank or company.
I can not really say much for my review because I was unable to actually use the app service. Please pick me as the winner!!!!

Great app if you need money till pay day! Love how it pays itself back on the borrows pay day. Must have direct deposit though.
