App won’t open after update
I feel very confident learning from this App
I’m reinforcing some French I already knew but improving my pronunciation and learning lots of new words and phrases. Its quite clever.
I have tried a few different language programs and I have always had difficulty retaining the information. Pimsleur is different. The way they teach is easy to follow and understand. I love that they use simulated conversations. It's not always easy to find native speakers to converse with and I feel like that is the best way to learn a new language. Also, they are very affordable.
I started using Pimsleur to learn french two weeks ago and the progress i’ve made on that time is incredible. Their approach to teaching language is unmatched by any other services. Duolingo could never.
My first day. I like learning Chinese with Pimsleur
After trying to figure out the most effective way to learn Spanish, I finally subscribed to this system after many online recommendations. I think the system is very helpful with speech practice even as someone who knows a few basic words and phrases. It is a little pricy at $14.99/m which is such a waste if you forget and go a few days or weeks without practice but that’s more of a personal problem. Overall a really great app for language if you have a little cash per month.
The app is the best hands free device I have had towards learning a new language. Course 1 was flawless. I completed all 30 lessons and never had an issue and learned a lot. Either they have not put any effort into updating the courses 2-5 with their app interface due to most people probably never making past course 1, or they have been going through lay offs? A significant drop off has occurred. After lesson 12 in course 2. I have never had to re download and install the app various times.the app will glitch out. All support says is that they are having issues they are working on. I download the lessons to my iPad and then do a lot of driving for work. I don’t have a data plan on the iPad as the ability to download the content off line is the reason I wanted to use the app. I have reported this issue many times and it’s getting old. I purchased the month to month membership in case a situation like this would occur. Unfortunately it has. If they get this fixed then 5 stars if not then be prepared for frustration in routine building.
