I used this app for along time and now I can’t even get it to work. I used to love how easy this app was to use and now I can’t even login. I am extremely disappointed and now I will have to find somewhere else to spend my money to help me on my workout routine.
App used to be good but now it won’t save any of my workouts. It says error saving workout.
It’s pretty awesome to see a feature request get implemented. Logged in today to see the super sets now have workout history in the superset context. This is a great app for tracking and has a excellent workout library. Context —————- I wanted to love this app after using the BodySpace app for years. The workout programs are prevalent. I found a great one within my first few minutes and have loved it so far. In years of weightlifting I realized the key to improvement is beating your previous lifts. Meaning, you’re constantly looking back at the last time you did the particular exercise to try and improve. The BodySpace app did this really well, you could tap on the lift within the workout context and immediately see the last lifts with dates. The BodyFit app also has this capability, but only for singular lifts. If you’re doing a superset, which in my experience is 70% of my workouts, you have to navigate all the way out of your workout to the Home Screen to see history. This ends up being something like tapping back 4-5 times, navigating to the exercise log, searching the lift, and finally tapping on the lift to see previous lifts. Then after you’re done that and memorized the previous weight and reps, navigate out of the exercise log, back to the dashboard, back to your workout, track workout, then back to the specific set you were on. The whole process takes way too much time and often you forget if you’re doing a giant set. Please just add the previous workouts to the supersets context where I can tap on the lift and see history. This is a five star app otherwise.
I’ve been a member of bb.com for almost 15 years. They were the kings when it came to fitness and workout plans, which used to be free and available on their site. Now however they’ve locked it all behind this app. Given their history and prominence in the industry one would expect this app to be the absolute industry dominator for bodybuilding apps, but it’s just not the case. Sure, the workout plans are still there, but all the other great stuff that many other apps have has left this one in the dust. Other apps let you pick and choose exactly which equipment you have access to, and it tailors your workouts based on your responses. Not so here, it’s really generic equipment questions and doesn’t really make a difference to your workout plan. There’s no family subscription. I would love to share a subscription with my wife, but that’s not possible. She’d have to get her own dedicated subscription. And most bafflingly of all, there’s no Apple Watch app, nor any syncing with Apple Health. Other apps are honestly light years ahead of this one. bb.com really fell behind here, and it’s a bummer.
I was doing another set of routines from another fitness trainer To make story shorter …. I’ve improved greatly Started out with the beginner stuff, went to intermediate and now doing the most fitness I can I’m 64 and not letting up
The app is great and the variety of plans and workouts is amazing. I just wish that on the workouts which have supersets that you could switch them out for other options. I also wish you could manually add additional exercises to your workout.
I have used this app for 7+ years and recently it has caused my Spotify audio to cut out while I use my AirPods. I thought I was just unlucky so I tried it with another phone and it was the same issue, so I tried different AirPods, once again. Cutting out. Once I closed the BodyFit app the problems went away.
If you need help figuring out what to do at the gym like i did.. this app is perfect for you. Has tons of workouts and has everything in a nice presentation and UI. Best workout app i’ve ever used. Get it!!!
Subscribed to try the 7 day free trial. Barely completed 1 workout (no desire to finish) and immediately cancelled and no longer use. No warmup or cool downs, short workouts with extremely short breaks in between reps, high reps & quick movements. No modifications for jumping moves or anything else. Supposed to be a dumbbell program, but 2 exercises used an incline bench I don’t have. No ability to choose equipment. The description states you’ll have access to recipes & meal planning, NO, false advertising!! There was a blurb on how they think you should eat, but that was it! There was a link to a “course” I went to, and there was an option to join the “elite” status, more money of course, and you’d have access to recipes. Incorrect and deceptive. I believe they claim to be affiliated w/bodybuilding.com too, was expecting so much more.
