Great Variety - Perfect

I found this to be the perfect fitness app. Easy to use. Challenging workouts. I was getting tired of planning my own workouts. This app takes care of that. Also like the meditations and recipes for food although I minimally use those.

Great app except for self guided

So good in many respects but the self guided workouts leave a lot to be desired . No audio cue’s (besides a timer you can’t hear over your music played in-app) so you have to always be looking at your phone to see what’s next . Announcing the name of the next exercise would help a lot .

I am near the end of my one year subscription. I won’t be renewing. I’m a physician and trainer and use multiple apps. Centr was good for the first 3 or 4 months and I saw great results. But after that, it just got stagnant. I am using the build muscle program and my workouts haven’t changed since October. In the first few months the workouts cycled through different 4 week rep/sets. Which was great and kept things fresh and fun. But the workouts in the build muscle program haven’t changed in 6 months. For example, every Monday it’s 5 sets of 5 reps shoulder press and pull ups. No cycling of sets and reps. It’s a boring watered down version of a 5x5 program. I tried to swap daily workouts with previous workouts, but searching the extensive library is a time consuming pain. You can’t search by date loaded or even go back in your progress history beyond a week. I can’t find many of the first workouts I did. You’d have to go back and look at every single one. No one has time for that. So the workouts I really enjoyed are lost. I wrote to customer service many times and only received cut and pasted scripted responses telling me about 4 week cycles but that was my point— there weren’t anymore 4 week cycles. Too bad, it’s a great layout, easy to use good and easy recipes. But even after a few months you’ve pretty much cooked everything. After a year, there just isn’t enough change to keep me signed up for another year. I’m particularly frustrated with the absolute zero change in the workouts in 6 months and the total lack of response. I think this is good for a novice but intermediate and advanced should use something else. I will add I really liked the michael boxing workouts. But they are also getting old with no new content of his being added. Too bad, could be the best app out there but someone got lazy and hit cruise control.

This program has been the best investment I’ve made on myself! The workouts are challenging and if you’re consistent you will get results. I am a runner, but I have a hip injury, I did the HIIT workouts consistently, without even running I dropped 2 minutes off my mile run. Just amazing! I’m definitely paying for another year.

It’s great! You have options. It’s a joy to workout. Meal plans are included. It not only help you physically, but mentally as well.

Not bad at all

This app provides sooooo much good stuff! Meals, meditations, workouts, so much! The workouts are great and challenging, however they don’t really support people new to working out or even just people new to body weight workouts. I’m someone who is very active but has been that way through weight lifting and cardio alone, so jumping into body weight workouts was very challenging for me not because the workouts were hard, they are definitely hard, but because the form was really hard to understand for me but all I had to go on was a 20 second clip of the trainer doing the exercise, so I was left to figure it out. That could be improved upon. Also, there should totally be a “Thor workout routine” or something like that under programs. A lot of people get the app because it’s under Chris Hemsworth’s name, aka Thor. It’s not for everyone, but a Thor workout routine and diet would be so cool for anyone who wants to attain the god of Thunders physique! Just an idea.

Many flaws on iPhone

I am just giving this app a 3 star rate because it has many many flaws in iPhone. I’ve reported it to the help team and they always come back asking for iphone type, iOS version etc but bebes have fixed it in nearly a year. Works great on iPad! Never had a problem. Workouts and meditations are great, I haven’t tried the meal plan as I have many restrictions they don’t cover but looks good too.
