I’ve never seen such innovation in balancing a healthy lifestyle. This app raises the stakes for companies and developers alike. This is not a tailored approach to your specific needs. It is a tailored lifestyle guide to ANYBODY to live healthy and wholesome. The workouts are simple, guided, intense, yet very approachable to anybody interested. There is no obligation to do any of them, but many are tailored to avoid the gym if that is what you are after. The meals force you to shop! I have NEVER felt so comfortable in the grocery store. The first day, it was a nuisance building up my pantry. After that, I found the wholesome ingredients more beneficial and WAY cheaper than eating out since I was using them on a regular basis. The app allows you to build a check-off shopping list (based upon portions) with a simple click of a button! What’s novel.... you just add the meals you want to eat. Not all of the one’s that are suggested! I haven’t come across a single meal that I have been disappointed with (considering the wholesome ingredient approach). Everything has been beyond tasty, wholesome, and healthy. I still have yet to take more advantage of the lifestyle tools, but I’m telling you C.H. and his team did a phenomenal job.
Love the app, exercises, and food. Wish you could favorite recipes, but that’s neither here nor there. Unfortunately I had to cancel my account because it’s just too expensive. Where I live, $20 will get you a full gym pass with massage, classes, etc. I couldn’t afford that gym pass, and I can’t afford this app :( I would pay for sure $10/month.

Love this app! It’s very well rounded and has a great selection of food that’s also delicious. My biggest complaint is that there are no portion sizes listed on the recipes - especially the snacks. We frequently will make extra dinner for leftovers and it’s not specific as to how much of each thing equals a serving. Other than that, have loved it! Great variety.
Over the last week I have notice that the web isn’t syncing with the app. There are workouts on the web that are not within the app and vice verse. Can you please advise? Besides that I like the workouts and everything else this app offers.
First of all, this is the best workout and health/fitness app on the App Store. It has a great variety of workouts, excellent recipes that are healthy and easy to make, and has a holistic wellbeing approach to emotional and mental health that other apps lack. That said, it’s missing a few core features that would make it a 5 star app: 1. The ability to save favourite workouts and swap them in as required. Sometimes I want to do a particular weight set because I know the next day I’ll have to just do bodyweight exercises. Let the users save favorites and customize their plan a bit! 2. Save favourite recipes. My wife is gluten free but I’m not, so when I find a good gluten free recipe I want to save it. I can pull it from the website, but why add extra steps? Let us save the recipe list in the app for easy access. 3. An iPad app. I workout without glasses on and it’s tough to see the screen sometimes. I can use the iPad but it is awkward just using a 2x sized phone app. I would love an actual iPad app to use as a companion to the phone app. 3. When playing the workouts, indicate what the next exercise will be during the rest screen. Right now I have to pause it and get setup which throws off the flow of the workout. If the next workout was displayed earlier I could flow between exercises more smoothly.
So I have written one or two reviews, usually to express some disappointments and give the none “this is a great app” review. This looks like a great app and I totally understand the need for people to make money but for me fitness apps should honestly be free. This is not. You can get you X number of days free, not nearly enough to actually get fit, but you have to sign up and pay for this. Like I said this looks like it is a great app but for me I’d rather pay a gym membership and or actual trainer to train me than some random app. Yeah you get a some great advice and you get some great trainers but come on do you really think Chris needs the money? If he loves this app so much and believes in it so much, then let EVERYONE enjoy it. Make it free. That is just my two cents (or stars).
This app has made me so much stronger and has made me even more confident in my everyday life. Before I would hop around on different work out apps and then I found Center. I have lost weight, gained muscle, and my mental health has gotten to the point where I feel like I can go out any day of the week and still feel confident. This app has helped me love myself and feel like I can do anything. Thank you Center for changing my life for the better.
So far so good. The app is really smart and times into schedules and daily check-ins which will keep me coming back. The button colors for selection aren’t clear, it took me too long to know if blue was selected or if white was selected, I would recommend greying out the text on the I selected and adding a boarder or some other clear indicator to the selected button. I will give you guys 5 stars if you start using the Oxford comma. I keep seeing missing commas before the ‘and’ in a list and it’s super irritating.
This is a great app. I love the workout routines and the recipes. I’m rating it 4 stars (for now) because I would like to see an issue resolved. I hope the developers will change the meditation feature. Whenever I play the meditation sequence, it stops at a few seconds after because my iPhone screen starts to sleep. Is there a way for the meditation sequence to continue playing even if the screen sleeps? It’s hard to meditate when I need to refresh the iPhone screen every time it stops or to keep touching the phone screen just so it won’t pause playing.
