Cash cow

It’s fun in the beginning when things take seconds to build. Seconds become minutes. Minutes become hours. Then it’s days to upgrade everything. I haven’t gotten there yet days will undoubtedly turn into WEEKS just to upgrade 1 thing. No matter how much you play you will find yourself falling behind the big spenders. Everything is about money. I get that is why they created the game but $99 for a gem package, really? I have spent $14.99 on a game that lasted 6-700+ and you don’t have to keep pumping money into it. Do yourself a favor and don’t even start playing, I bet this company makes millions a month from fools who want to build up their city faster than other people. You are also forced to join an alliance and rely on other people in the alliance to join your rally otherwise all you can do is fight small groups of barbarians. You are very limited in what you can do alone. This is labeled as a strategy game but There’s no skill involved in the battles, no strategy, you just have to spend lots of money to have a better army. One nice aspect of the game is the variety of generals but getting them and leveling them up usually requires, yes, you guessed it, spending money. I paid $0.99 to buy this one general, because heck, it was $1. But then come to find out in order to upgrade this general you have to spend more money; at least $50, on one general??? I have heard people spend hundreds of dollars on this game. Then one day you wake up and say, boy, that was stupid, and a waste of money.

Short review

I love this game because of the troop system. I can gather resources, attack others or liberate areas of interest. This game is truly amazing. The only downside I can think of is the upgrade times

The majority of these reviews are fake. Been playing this game for nearly 5 years here in a couple months. The system is extensively deep. You could literally spend $10,000 on day one and your still nowhere near top players. The new armament system is a great addition to add more longevity to the game. But the stats on these armaments are dumb. The rewards for sending 15 dispatches, are lame. The reward for a single dispatch sent are 90% useless. Fact is this game is extremely pay to win. F2P players will never lead rally’s for their clans as someone who purchased better commanders will be leading that rally. Your only purpose as free to play is to farm resources and make troops. And with those resources you farm you will be asked by leadership and rally leaders to give to them. So they can stay in the fight. And with those troops you fill the payers rally that attacks the enemy city/flag. When troops die, you get 50% of them back in KvK. When troops die outside of KvK, you don’t get any back at all. Basically f2p fuel the pay to win players. They are just pawns to use on the board of chess for the kings, queens, bishops etc… of this game. The game makes a TON of money, yet we still have the same rewards for most events. Most events are the same old thing. Big updates are rare. Like once a year rare.
