I’m so grateful for Qeepsake for making memory-capturing easy, thoughtful and at my fingertips. The whole family helps answer questions now, it’s a fun way for everyone to pause and reflect on our baby each day.
Asks the least probing questions ever. I was expecting better questions since they make up her scrapbook of memories to reflect upon later in life. Questions like, “Taken any adorable selfies with ____? Send it here!” Like, if I took a cute picture with my baby I would put it in the scrapbook manually. I don’t need the question to prompt me to do so. The question doesn’t inspire anything in me. The questions also recycle after the first month or so, which was disappointing to learn as a premium user. I feel very ripped off for the amount I paid. Next time I’ll probably stick to a traditional baby journal or scrapbook since Qeepsake doesn’t offer much over that. I like the ideal of a digital scrapbook, but Qeepsake falls short of being any kind of ideal in that market.
I had to delete the app because the icon looked like the Qanon logo. Yikes. Good app though.
So thankful to be able to save these memories in an app rather then rely on my memory to keep track of all the details!
I love the idea but there is a lot of work needed on the execution. Pretty quickly, the questions get recycled or are just generic (ie. what did you do today). I expected thoughtful questions to help me keep track of things I might not have recorded myself, but I’m finding I skip all the questions and just record my own milestones which is not the point of the app. Also the app is buggy and not easy to navigate. It loses the information you type if you leave the app mid entry. It refreshes every time you open so I’m constantly scrolling. The other big problem I have is the book output. It is not customizable and the book is really clunky. If I actually printed a book with all the memories and pictures I want to save, it would be hundreds of pages because it’s formatted so poorly. If I hadn’t paid for a year, I would have stopped using this within the first month. Now I’m just using it to record and making my own book on another platform. I would not recommend or use again.
Hello! I just had this happen once I download the app where I wasn’t able to use my front facing camera it would be black ! But once I deleted the app from my phone the camera is working find ! I think you need to fix this as I now have to go to the website to do anything for my Qeepsake!
I really like the idea of keeping the electronic journal and make a book later concept. However, the questions are very repetitive(same question would be asked not only more than once but couple times). There is no way you can search a certain question because it is not categorized, you have to go through all the entries to edit the entry. Photos too, wish there is a gallery view so that I don’t add same photo twice. They also sort of force customers to get subscriptions because the limitation of book orders. I don’t like it that you have to get a year subscription at a time. I ended up with ordering a traditional baby book anyway. This is sort of wasting money and time. Would not recommend it to any friends.
Just started using app. Very user friendly. Anxious to see how the book turns out.
I love this app bc it reminds me to journal, add photos and fun memories to an album. I just purchased my first book and it turned out great! I have entries from when I’m 6 mos pregnant to 1 year old. I’m so glad I stumbled across Qeepsake. We will treasure the memories & continue using the app as long as I can!
So convenient! Love this app, what an awesome idea!!
