I have avoided doing a macro based diet because I thought it would be too hard and time consuming. This app made it so easy. The hard part was deciding what to eat since the app told me how much of it I could eat. Joining the Facebook group also helped tremendously in figuring out what I needed to do in regard to determining how to proceed from one week to the next. I find having a supporting community as I try new things helps me stay on track. I just completed my first 8 week cut and dropped 12 pounds. I am very happy with that and I am now planning my maintenance phase and my next cut.
I love this app. As a coach in a weight class sport, I recommend it to all of my clients. My athletes are able to stay in the appropriate weight class without any detriment to their athletic performance. The YI is great and easy to use once you get used to it.
Very hard to figure out this app. I gave up on day 1!
Not a fan of this app. You should be able o scan a bar code on a product and the app break it down for you. Instead everything has to be entered manually and takes forever. Not user friendly at all. My Fitness Pal is way easier and user friendly.
Need to make the app more user friendly. Editing existing days to adjust for changes is a a pain in the butt!
Just doesn’t seem to be user friendly. Will not let me input my actual macros, just tells me if I’m over and I need to re input. If I’m over two fat macros at lunch.. then take away two from dinner. Oh well. Wanted to love it. Just didn’t work for me or my husband. The scanning option is really nice, but sometimes the macros wouldn’t align with what was uploaded vs that packaging.
