Fantastic Diet and App

Just ended my first ever cut. I’m a fluffy 50-something that had her running and mountain biking curtailed by a couple major injuries about 10 years ago. Fast forward to hitting menopause and arthritis finding all my broken parts, I hit a weight I swore I’d never see. My son and his wife love CrossFit and RP. So, I decided to try RP. CrossFit is questionable, but my son keeps saying anything is scalable. 😅 So I hit my goal and then some! Lost 25 lbs. Now on to maintenance (scary but I’m trusting the process). I’m able to take longer walks and I’m looking to get back on a bike! Running again will probably not happen, but I’m excited to try strength training at some point. For anyone like me: THIS WORKS!!

Great app but...

Love the app but Not a fan of the slider for adding food. Would much rather have the ability to type he number in. Hope that will be upgrade.

So so

I used this app for about 2.5,3 weeks. It’s extremely confusing to figure out.

Easy to use UI, intelligent algorithm, results delivered

I have used this application with success for 1 major fat loss a maintenance phase and into a new fat loss phase. The UI is easy to understand, use and find what you are looking for. Simple questions and information gathering are pretty spot on for caloric expenditure as long as you are honest with yourself and your daily activity amount. The daily structure for timed meals (not strict) - all around your sleeping schedules, activity time and blocked out busy time make it very easy to progress. I successfully lost 16 lbs for the first fat loss plan with an intelligent program that allowed me to adjust on the fly as weeks progressed depending on how I felt. The library of foods, both Whole Foods and bar code/restaurant is massive. I have yet to find something that isn’t in - if it isn’t you can easily make your own for future use. I used MyFitnessPal religiously in my early 20s and have always fallen off with no structure. Big fan of the RP Diet App and having seen the latest update and what was added or adjusted - they listen to reviews and feedback. 5/5

Over Complicating Lifestyle Management

Just finished a cycle successfully which I’d set up prior to the updated version. It was simple and allowed for daily life flexibility (work from home, kid is home doing virtual learning, etc.). Now, as I try to set up a new fat loss program, the app isn’t letting me. It’s indicating I’m not active enough for fat loss. 90min CF workouts, 7-7.5 hours of sleep, busy the rest of the time short of 90 min buffer of rest spread throughout the day...and the app still says I’m not active enough to program a fat loss diet. I use Whoop to track activities (sleep and workouts) - just needed this app to help me track and time macros...like it used to. Probably going to cancel the subscription since my lifestyle doesn’t fit the app’s calculus any more.

Love the app

Came from the templates and i was worried at first. But The updates were great and kept me on plan. Being able to schedule busy times or adjust my day as it went made it less overwhelming to meet target macros for each day. Had success in my first cut, even though I had to end it early (2020 need I say more).

Please change back to original version!

With the new updates the app no longer works as well as when it 1st came out. With my schedule I was able to have 6 meals a day. Now with the new algorithm it only allows me 5 meals and the meal times do not coordinate with my schedule.

Injury led to choosing this program

I have really enjoyed the RP diet phase. That is a funny thing to say because who really enjoys dieting? Seriously I slept well, ate well and enjoyed the challenge in finding the right macros that over time worked really well as I began to regain strength. My knee is still not back but coupled with great strength training and the right amount of cardio I am loving the results. Just finished 9 weeks so looking forward to the maintenance phase!
