A monthly subscription to use your app? Let me just buy the dang thing and be done with it.
It only lets you change settings. Worthless. I mean, unless you like staring at icons, then it is worth it. Otherwise, Don’t get.
If you like looking at icons and that’s it this is the app for you! Because that’s all you get to do in the free version, if you decide to touch one of the icon bubbles it’ll pop up “Discover CarOS” which means pay us. Oh yea and they have a problem with their built in google maps, it doesn’t load anything. Good luck !
Needs to be rebuilt. Google maps won’t work. If you like Waze - go for it. Other than that, it looks the same as the applications already on your phone. This app functions as shortcuts to those apps. Nice concept but nothing to see here.
Just big icons. Offers no real functionality. Can’t even use navigation.
Bad. Subscribed but still can’t access anything except free version. Now I have to fight to get money back and stop billing. Not ready.
Yes thanks philip
Idk what the review before mine is talking about but I got a new car that is way nicer than my last except it doesn’t have Apple car play. The dashboard is very high tech and complicated so I am having issues with ease of use. I wanted to find something for my phone similar to Apple car play and only found this one and one other. This one is so far so good except I can’t get it to read me text messages but Siri does this anyways so no big deal. I also like the map interface because it tells me real time traffic jams and my music and other widgets are still in the corner. I think it just needs some fine tuning but excellent. I’m going to use it a little more before purchasing the year.
Won’t even allow me to listen my own music without it asking to buy some kind of subscription. Horrible.
Looks and feels like a knockoff, not like the real thing. Music is horrendeous, and overall UX nonexistant. The very basics of Apples UI design like equal paddings have not been followed. Does not have a pro member trial, probably because they overstate its capbilities. Very complex and buggy set of settings, you can really see that the author is not a real ios dev, but comes from a hacky, cydia-pumped, androidish background. While i would really love a real CarPlay app/clone on the iPhon screen, i beleive that this particular app should be removed by Apple, because it inpersonates Apple - but more importantly, because the app does not offer a polished experience by any means. Which is, beleive it or not, against app store rules.
