I’ve suffered with chronic things my whole life - neck/shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, migraines, heartburn, tailbone pain, and most significantly Interstitial Cystitis and chronic UTIs for more than 15 years. I read Sarno’s books and felt instant relief but it didn’t last and I went right back. Regular use of Curable is the only thing that has kept me on the right path. At first, I thought “how could an app make that much difference?” but I finally gave it a chance and now I’ll never go back. Thank you for dedicating your lives to improving the lives of others!
After 6 months of unending pain and suffering i am finally finding pain relief with the curable ap and all the information and excercises it has to offer. This, combined with reading the books by doctors and psychologists that the experts interviewed on the available podcasts on curable talk about, has finally led me to understand where my pain is coming from and how to reduce it and hopefully cure it. it’s really amazing that after seeing 5 neurologists, 1 physiatrist and a psychiatrist, all who have made my condition worse, this is finally helping me.
Let me preface this by saying that I never review apps. But if you are dealing with chronic pain, you owe it to yourself, your health, and your future to get this app. It is worth every penny you pay to have access to a library of high quality material that can provide you with hope and pain relief. It would cost tens of thousands of dollars, if not more, to get access to similar content through an in-patient program at a place like Mayo or John’s Hopkins. I’m sincerely grateful to the developers and medical professionals involved in creating it and making this information available to the average person struggling with chronic pain and symptoms.
I’m a new user so my experience is limited, but so far, Curable feels like a very reliable friend. If I’m feeling pain and/or stressed, I can do a meditation or Somatic Tracking and I always feel better. I also had a really surprising experience with Expressive Writing, one I didn’t expect because I’ve always kept a journal. Expressive Writing is something totally different. Thanks to the app and the Curable podcast, I have hope for the first time in many years that my pain is neuroplastic, and that I can be rid of it if I keep at it.
After only 1 week I’ve found the meditations to be extremely helpful to retrain my brain to not be anxious and not be afraid and it has already decreased the severity of the long Covid symptoms I’ve been experiencing. Thank you!!
If the only thing holding you back is the fee, go for it. There are so many helpful tools on here. I was and still and skeptical but I’m also really enjoying learning and having more tools to deal with my pain that ever.
It’s working. My brain, my heart, my mind…all of it is being shaped right now. It’s like magic. I’m so thankful for these exercises. I’ve done a lot of therapy work over the years but never anything like this. Thankful for this app and for the team that developed it.
I used this app for 2 months. It does not appear in my Apple subscriptions and I received no notice that it was renewing. Be sure you track this subscription yourself! BTW, my back pain was resolved thanks to Bob and Brad on Youtube.
The curable app is very helpful ! I have learned so much about the body brain connection . I have also learned about how important self - talk is and how to reframe my thinking ! I would highly recommend the app !
I think the Curable app is excellent. Some great exercises, meditations and overall encouragement. I strongly recommend it! I didnt give it it a “5” only because it would be better if this could be an interaction with a living, breathing therapist! Other than that though I like it and I think it’s helping!
