OK, so listen first of all why even make an Amazon kids plus if you’re not gonna make an Amazon kids without the plus people shouldn’t have to pay I mean what someone wants to keep this up for their child but they just lost a lot of money because of the hospital bill for the child they can’t pay for this so they can’t get it why make it if it has the cost I hate all apps that cost and I’m never gonna download this app again

How is this app $5 a month

The only thing meaningful you can do is clear ALL of the downloads, not one or two, all or nothing. You can also see what your child is doing on the tablet like how much time they spend streaming or playing games but that’s it, you cannot limit certain apps or remove a certain app. There’s no option to disable games while keeping educational apps active. You do get a year for free when you buy a tablet which are worth it but this app is all but worthless and should not have a cost associated with it.

No directions what so ever

This whole set up is awful. No clear direction, just came with a bunch of crap loaded on the tablet that we want off and we can’t figure out how to do it.

Super difficult to navigate

Hate this app and the kindle all together, spend the extra money and get an iPad. It’s so confusing and difficult to navigate. App upgrades and downloads are frustrating and not worth the hours you and your child will be trying to figure it all out.

Missing key feature

If Amazon is going to force me to approve or decline every app (free or paid) that my child wants to download, the app should have the functionality to provide said authorization.

Good but, limited.

It’s a good app as far as setting content filters and sharing movies or any other bought content. However, it’s not as functional as I’d like. The “daily time limits” are iffy: if I set the time limit one day whiile they’re on their tablets, it may or may not take. I’d love an easy interface that lets me brick their tablet if I wanted. Just a kill switch for when I need it lol Also the communications for kids apparently won’t let me call/drop in on their tablets. And for some reason the kids tablets aren’t listed in their child profiles. Amazon in general can be less than user friendly for this kind of stuff.
