What is above the measure tool?
Useful tool even though the button above the measure tool is off my 5S screen.
Cool Idea, but Glitchy & Slow
Love the features of the app and I think its a great concept and could be an awesome tool, however it takes several minutes for the app to register when you press something. To measure distance and drop a point one single time takes upwards of 20 minutes (press a button, wait 5 minutes, then the screen will finally update and you can press the next button then wait, etc.), and that is with good service and internet, and up to date app, and a fully charged phone. I have given up trying to download any maps on the app and have been seriously mislead in the field trying to use the unreliable “my location” tool. Probably the glitchiest app I’ve ever downloaded. Unfortunately its required for the 50K bitcoin shed hunt so I have to keep dealing with it… maybe they will fix these glitches soon.
App issues
Seems as if the app MENU is poorly designed for IOS. Resetting a password is practically impossible. The “get the clues” takes up and covers most menu options and space. App glitches when trying to update personal info and shuts down.
It’s Slow
I have a subscription to onX hunt and wanted to try out this app. For the first couple weeks it was great, even though I am not shedicated. But since they added a subscription and started the bitcoin hunt my app has been incredibly slow and unreliable it can take a couple minutes just to set and edit a marker. I hope something changes.
Love but disappointed
I love the map but reaaally disappointed that it doesn’t cover South Dakota Nebraska or North Dakota..

THE MOST NON-INTUITIVE HUNTING APP I'VE EVER USED. NO INDEPTH INSTRUCTIONS. APPARENTLY NO WAY TO ERASE/DELETE UNWANTED ICONS. AND YOU CANNOT CENTER THE MAP WHERE YOU WANT. I'M SETTING AT HOME & WANT TO PLACE MARKERS IN AN AREA 70 MILES AWAY & THE APP KEEPS DROPPING THEM IN MY LIVING ROOM. WASTE OF MY TOME AND EFFORTS.😡🤬
Awesome!
Since shed hunting is coming to a end, figured I'd give you a rundown on my experience with the app! I loved it. It helped me find some new spots where I had some of my best days I've ever had. A lot of it was thanks to the elevation bands. That was the one feature I used the most besides the waypoints. It took me a lot of miles to figure out where the elk had wintered and dropped but once I did, it was game on. I used the elevation band and narrowed it down to a certain elevation. I would use that elevation and I would find elk sheds on almost every hike. Thanks for making a great app that has helped me a ton!!

I’ve used this app for a little while now and it’s awesome! I won’t head into the woods without it now!
A true Outdoorsmans Tool!
If you don’t have the scout to hunt app, you are missing out on so much! Some of those things are: shed horns, bulls, bucks, and new territory. I have been using the scout to hunt app for a little over a year now and I love it. It has helped me find new stomping grounds, many shed horns, and trails into areas I thought were not accessible. This app is easy to use and is a outdoorsmans best friend! My current favorite part is the new shed panel! I spend lots and lots of days out in the field and have used this app in just about every way imaginable! I would recommend the scout to hunt app to anyone who wants to get the most out of their outdoors experiences!
