Used to be great. No longer allows you to access/use Spotify. That is a major bummer.
As many have stated, the tracks not analyzing correctly unless they are loaded onto a deck is a major issue. It was one thing to migrate to another service but even the feature of playing match similar song currently playing are showing incorrect analytical information and that is extremely frustrating. I chose to purchase this software years ago becuase of it's full integration with (again in my opinion) the best streaming platform available to consumers. Not to mention, already paying for one service then having to pay for another service now is pretty taxing especially for a beginner DJ. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement at this point.
I have used and played with several music dj software over the years... By far, this is the best not only because it is easy to use and intuitive but also the best quality and design. Thanks DJAY
I'm about to ditch this program. It used to be amazing, but they took away Spotify, none of my tracks BPM or Keys can be analyzed, we have had several glitches at important events at key moments that made us look bad. If they don't get these problems we're moving all of our DJs over to Serato. I've pretty fed up at this point.
WORK OUT A DEAL WITH THEM LIKE THE OTHER APPS, I WOULDENT MIND A SMALL MONTH FEE BUT ITS VERY CRUCIAL.
Been using it for over 8 years , never failed me. Try to work with Pioneer rekordbox, sarato, and many others , Nothing beats Djay Pro.
work a deal with spotify
I hate to be aggressive through a review, but it is an absolute money stealer that when updating to the newwest 'Pro' version you have to pay. I get that an app was entirely made, but there in lies my point... I have paid for the original Djay, Djay Pro, Djay 2 and now the "NEW" Djay Pro2... Also this app was made for Apple users.... why is it (And Apple will get an ear full too) that I have to pay for a seaperate subsrciption to Sound Cloud.... whn I used the older version just fine.. NO WHERE in the description was it made clear abuiot the protection file formats... I get it, but you should tell us... Now I have paid 50 for an app I cannot use. It is stupid to have two music apps on the same cmopter and to save two versions of the same song ... one more likely to hinder my computers process. If it was made for APPLE tthen it should be fluent with APPLE 100% no ifs ands or buts ...
