Excited to use but putting payment information for $50/ year before getting to use the trial is nuts. Would love for a premium service to have extra features rather than the actual product itself.
Was very excited to try this app but it has let me down for the price. This is a nice cook book but that’s about it. The ‘meal prep’ option for the week does not include true meal prep recipes. All it does is repeat the recipe that you need to make on each day. Some of which include 30 min of boiling then additional pan frying- this is too much to do for a lunch. Also the app does not allow you to check off what you have eaten each day nor does it work with the fitplan app at all. I was so excited hoping the calories I’ve been tracking with my work out app FitPlan would work with this app- sadly they do not.
I’m loving this app! Keeps me in check and easy to use. Would love for winter recipes to come now since fall has started. Healthy soup recipes would be amazing!!
I was doing a monthly subscription of $15.99 and loved the app. All of a sudden I had a lot of recipes that I was locked out of and then couldn’t add meals to my 1 week plan. I checked in the settings and it said I still had a monthly subscription. I restarted the app and then it charged me for a yearly subscription which I definitely did not want or click! I have since cancelled because what a rip off and I’m sure I will not see my $49.99 again since it’s pending in my checking account. I will never use this app again. Stay away.
I really liked the idea of this when I started out but there are not enough meals with a variety if flavors in each meal plan. I wish each person had 3 or 4 months of meals instead of just 4 weeks.
The Pineapple Turkey Cauliflower Rice lists 1.5C cauliflower rice in the ingredients but gives instructions for normal white rice to cook. “Add coconut oil to medium skillet and health” (assuming he meant “heat”) No temperatures, very little in the way of instructions. Basic recipes at best. The nutritional information, as many others have stated, is subjective. This is not an app to use for diligent tracking or if you’re looking for any type of accuracy.
I love this App! As a Nurse my schedule is always tight and now with Mealplan I can meal my meals, have the steps by steps prep, ingredients list, videos.. so CONVENIENT They also count all the calories for you!
I signed up for the free 7 day subscription and after seeing that all meals were basically the same thing every day I cancelled. I cancelled after an hour and was still charged $49.99. Reached out to customer service and no reply. What a scam.
I hate to complain but I’d like to express some issues I had with the Mealplan app. I signed up for the free trial to see if I would like it. The free trial said 1 month but I got billed $18 after only 2 weeks?? And can’t get a refund. THEN I went ahead and canceled the subscription after that and it said I could still use the app until September. I just tried viewing a recipe that I had already bought the ingredients for and it won’t even let me see it? I just think that those are some issues that need to be resolved. As a struggling college student that’s just trying to lose the “freshman 15” I would LOVE to use this app but the price is just kind of ridiculous and the policy seems a little sketchy.
The app was fine for a while but recently I can’t access any of the other recipes! I used to be able to pick and choose different items and I was doing the monthly subscription. But recently I can only access a “meal plan” but not the other tons of recipes. Quite annoying! So I will most likely cancel.
